Vitamin Sea Chic Front Row Water View Home

We are actually from Brazoria County, we have stayed in Surfside many times, had looked at Vitamin-C, but it was always booked when we were coming down, this time we were able to snag it. Even though it was at times Freezing during our Stay the View, the sound of the Ocean right there, the Coming n Going of Tankers n Fishermen and there was usually a few Surfers for us to Enjoy. Walmart deliveries were frequent during our stay, they came up the stairs and placed our order inside the upper deck gate. Surfside has Spent Millions n are continuing to do improvements to the area. We will definitely be back & hopefully Vitamin-C will be available

Pro’s: large space, great if you have a lot of kids. Nice size kitchen and eating areas. Patio is great. Cons: dirty, rust, water damage, mildew smell, garage disposal broken, dishwasher broken, beds are broken, beds are stained with blood/urine/bodily fluids, towels are stained, bathrooms are rusted and dirty, guest bathroom shower is broken. All around, if you’re young and don’t care just need a place to crash pick this place. If you’re a family and care about the quality do not rent this place.

Amanda, we're truly sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your experience more. We take clean and comfortable extremely seriously. In fact, the guest just prior to you raved positively about both of those items (as you can read from the review). So, as you can imagine, we are quite baffled especially since we had not only 1 but 2 sets of eyes on this home the same day as your arrival (first the housekeeping crew and then second our field hospitality manager). Furthermore, we can't find any record of you contacting us via phone, text or email during your stay? Not even once. Surely you would have reached to us to, at the very least, provide you with new bed linens and towels, right?, my goodness! And not only would we have responded immediately, but we would have gladly brought back in our housekeepers and maintenance team who are right there in Surfside. Like said, we take extreme pride in clean and comfortable commitment. Again, we're sorry about your experience and wish you would have contacted during your stay if these items were the case.

Very nice house with fantastic seaview. Very clean and tastefully furnished. Their communication and instructions were excellent. The beach for swimming is just one minute away !

We absolutely loved our stay....just wished we would've had some more sun lol....Very clean and comfortable....wonderful view from the deck and also the large windows....fenced back yard was great for the dog to do his zoomies in....only thing we that we noticed that needed to be fixed was one of the bunk beds support underneath was bent or broken other than that we had a wonderful time with family who came from other states to be together....Thanks 979...we will definately rent from you again.

Amazing place to stay! Very private and quite location. Community around was really friendly and you can’t beat having the ocean at your door steps. Expensive dog fees though!

Although we were not able to just go right in front to the beach, this place has a beauitful view! To go down to the beach is only a swalk to the Jetty

The house is very cute though very little time on the beach with high tide in the area where we were even though all the pictures show beautiful sand in front… Broken futon in the den needs to be replaced, as well as the broken twin bed in the double twin bedroom! I don’t know who stayed there before us, but this furniture should support an array of guests… This left one less bed for us for the weekend. I love the Willie Nelson and mama tried part but it would’ve been nice. Had the fireplace worked. There was a fire down the road and the power went out so thank you for leaving some candles, but I’m glad I brought a lighter… The kitchen could be more well appointed with , a bowl and some other baking sheets for people who want to cook. The house is cute but needs some updates.

Overall cleanliness was ok. A lot of dog hair on the floor and furniture. The master bed. Was horrible. It was like sleeping on the floor. I went a bought a 3 inch mattress topper. I tried to sleep on one of the small red bed and the slats were broken . I loved the location. My family couldn't make it, so it was just me.

Girls weekend and the beach house was perfect!Lots of room for the 5 of us! We spent a lot of time on the large deck, with half covered and half open to the sunshine! Would definitely stay here again!

Nice home. Some wear noticeable. Kitchen was not well stocked with dishware compared to another property we had. A/C worked great. Refrigerator barely cooled so we had to resort to coolers with ice. Appliances dated. Beds and bedding fresh and comfortable.

This house is great sitting right in front of the ocean. We loved watching the waves, walking to the beach, watching the ships come and go. The butterfly garden was a regular visit for us, just a short ride through the neighborhood. The huge negative was we were not informed of the yellow, stinky water which is apparently an issue with the water supply in Surfside. The house definitely needs a water filter, as showering in that was very undesirable. Not only was the water yellow and smelly, sediments would be left in the sinks/tub each time. We left two messages and sent an email to the property mgmt company who finally replied only via text saying we note in the listing to bring water and it’s an issue with the city and not controlled by them. Okay, but it should be disclosed and a timely response would have been nice to settle such uncomfortableness when you aren’t familiar with the city and it’s water problem. Such an unfortunate issue for such a lovely home and location that could simply be solved with a water filter.

The front of the house overlooks the water beautifully as does the huge fenced in deck. This property was very clean and the property manager was very attentive when we had an issue with the front lock Which was easily remedied. I would highly recommend this property. One note the fenced in backyard would have been the cherry on top … but unfortunately there were too many huge gaps for us to allow the dog to run around. Once those are taken care of … we would return again .

This was a great property. As evident in the pictures, the house is oceanfront. The street is not a heavily travelled street so one doesn't really need to fear getting plowed over by a vehicle. During high tide, there isn't that much usable beach. However, there are 2 different beaches within a short walking distance to the house. The house itself was clean and had plenty of places to sleep. The only negative thing about the place was the tap water, which appeared to be a Surfside Beach issue. It was fine to bathe in and wash dishes, but we didn't drink it as there was a strong chlorine smell and taste to it. Good thing for bottled water! I wouldn't let that keep me from booking this place again. I would recommend this place for those that want to get away to the beach and avoid crowds of people.

We adored this house. When we came home from the beach, we were still at the beach with the breathtaking views of the ocean. The house is designed so that you feel like you’re always floating on the water. The house was super clean and has lots of wonderful amenities around the house- cornhole, scooters, games, solo stove. Lovely furnishings, house is very up to date. We hope to be back again!

This is our second time staying at this home. Perfect spot to watch the surf and catch sunsets. Home is always clean and check in and checkout is a breeze!
