The Boardwalk Oceanfront Elevator BIG Beach Views

We had a fantastic stay! The house is really roomy, clean, and very comfortable. We loved the huge kitchen whichwas better equipped than any house I have ever stayed at. Beds were comfy and rooms well appointed. There were many board games and beach toys for kids to play. The location was perfect. Loved watching the sunrise from the various porches or sitting outside in the breeze at night. Communication with the management team was seamless. They are extremely responsive. We had a small glitch with the AC which was resolved within a matters of hours. We will definitely return.

This is a quiet, gorgeous house that is well appointed. Kitchen had everything you could possibly need including a double oven! The windows were plentiful and showed off the beautiful views! The elevator was definitely a plus for our group of older adults. Lots of dishes and pots and pans! We cooked a lot! The dishwasher was also great! Good showers and tubs. Plenty of seating upstairs The complaints our group had was the smell throughout the home. Dirty clothes or mold smell. Not enough towels for a week. It appeared as though someone had recently fumigated the house as there were dead bugs everywhere. A few cockroaches, and then a lot of dead baby bugs.There was plenty of room for our party of 5, but the upstairs bedroom with the 1/2 bath was not a very private bedroom being sandwiched between the living room and kitchen. Stains on trundle bed sheets. There isn't a closet in this room to hang clothes, and in the 1/2 bath of this room there were loud popping sounds. AC? Water pipes?

Beautiful home on the beach, very clean and stocked. Cooked almost every meal there in a very nice kitchen. Views from every window ( and there are a lot!).

The house was mostly great, the view was fantastic. The nightly fee plus 2 cleaning fees should have meant a very clean home, but the windows were so filthy that we cleaned some of them during the stay, the dishes in the drawers were crusted with food, and we found other people's boogers and hair on some on the blankets (more than 1!!) We were glad they had a functional washer and dryer. The rental said accessible because there is an elevator, but it was not on the first floor when it arrived, so it wasn't really. The elevator has a 4th floor button that they have turned off, but they should tell you that in the email or label the button, because we pushed it and it goes halfway up and stops between floors and it was terrifying to be trapped in an elevator. The welcome book on the third floor did say that floor was off limits, but we hadn't seen it yet when we pushed the button. In the third floor bathroom someone got scared using the bathroom when the bookshelf suddenly moved, because it turns out there is another half locked room behind it, and after the elevator thing, it kind of felt like a horror movie to see part of a secret room with a ladder going up to a floor we couldn't go to. Overall though it is a nice house with a good view.

Located in a gated community, we were thrilled with the location of the home to the water/beach. Access was easy, with well maintained walkway. Exterior of home appeared to have slight damage from recent hurricane/weather - the drive was flooded upon our arrival. Be prepared for mosquitos. And lots of them. Canal behind home and flooding drew swarms and swarms of the little pests! For the most part, the home was clean. Towels and sheets smelled freshly laundered- baths and kitchen appeared clean at first look. However, we found lots of roach traps and sticky strips under sinks, inside cabinets and under furniture. Many of them were FULL of carcasses- yuk! I guess the lucky part was that all the large roaches we saw were dead - but they showed up each morning belly-up in random places. Air conditioning worked, but we had to keep bathroom doors closed and keep the storm shutters down during daytime to maintain a reasonable temperature for sleeping. The glass block -type window jb bathrooms only magnified the heat. Only one bedroom had places for us to unpack suitcases. Kitchen and dining were spacious, but first rental I’ve ever had when multiple cabinets were locked and unavailable for use. Multiple refrigerators and 1 range tops. Very convenient for cooking for our family of 12. Listing says there is a gas grill… it was charcoal so we had to last minute go out and buy charcoal. Unabailable for use.

Amazing Home if it was properly maintained. 1st) No air conditioning in bedrooms. So Hot .We had air in the hall and 2 box fans so we decided to not lose a whole day of vacation while they fixed it. 2) Roaches Alive & everywhere huge on the walls ,under the beds...so many I vacuumed them up a number of times.They say they have tried to exterminate but it's not working! 3)No Hot water in kitchen, or guest bedrooms.They did finally come out the day before we left we were there a week. Cold showers! I called and received an answer then nothing, wrote again for an update? Nothing until Saturday. 4)Sparks coming from an outlet that we called about for safety. They came Unplugged...cords everywhere. 5)Plumbing inside tank went crazy and flooded the floor we cleaned that all up and turned off that water...glad we caught it! 6) Elevator in this house is a must, stopped working the first day. Fixed it before we left. 7) Air upstairs then stopped and to not lose MORE time of our vacation our Son said I think it's just the Thermostat So he drove to the store bought batteries he put back together and it worked hallelujah! Off to the beach. 8)When we first got there I stepped on a good size piece of glass in the dinning area bled on the floor able to pull it out! I vacuumed the whole house, we have little ones. I understand none of the beachfronts are perfect but this was pricey and at the top of my budget. Lost to much time. So disappointed!

The house is super clean, great location, and very well supplied . I would definitely stay here again . The elevator is a big bonus. We had one little problem and it was taken care of immediately. Excellent place!!

Location was super! Right on the beach with a walkway. House was supplied extra ordinarily. Huge bath towels. All kitchen supplies you could need were provided. Glasses, plates, silverware, cooking utensils, knives, were first class. Appliances were the best. The only thing missing was an ice machine. Elevator was so nice to have. Barbeque pit was super. Owners really provided an outstanding beach house.

Nice property and great view...overall it was very good. The mattresses and pillows need to be upgraded. They don't match the quality of the house and all of us complained about being sore and our necks hurting and for me I have to include my back.

Great overall experience. Management was quick to deal with small issues. House was on quiet end of beach. We absolutely loved it. We could not believe how many decks the house had.

This was a perfect escape for our Memorial Day Weekend. The house was beautiful and very well situated in the gated community so there was a buffer between us and the crowds. The bright kitchen was fun to cook in and well stocked and we were able to cook lovely meals as a family. The layout was also a big plus with the majority of bedrooms on the same floor. I would definitely stay again.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this home. The home was very clean, but sadly there were dirty dishes in the cupboard. We didn’t complain; just threw them in the washer. We owned a rental and understand how this happens. The Portuguese Man of War on the beach were stunning but we saw a child in a great deal of pain. Our stay was perfect for what we wanted!

The property is beautiful and in a nice quiet area. Access to the beach was amazing. Views are absolutely stunning day and night. The house is gorgeous with plenty of room for guests to spread out or all gather together.

The place was clean, beds were comfortable, water pressure was good, enough hot water for four people and WiFi was reliable. We had four people online everyday working, school, etc. and didn’t have an issue. Great proximity to the beach. The elevator made it convenient to get everything inside.

The cars on the beach, and there were hundreds, took away from a peaceful beach vacations. The house was nice, however I would not rent again in this location.

We had a Wonderfull stay. Loved the easy access to the beach and outdoor sitting areas. The shutters that cover the windows were also Wonderfull and helped keep the house cool.

We had a full house...9 adults and a baby. The location close to the beach was perfect to run back and forth to the beach as needed. The elevator opens into the den with trundle, so that's something to consider. Views, kitchen, and patios were all wonderful. Neighborhood very nice. There is some visible wear, but that's typical of beach houses, nothing serious. Would definitely book again.
