Stunning Ver La Mer Direct Ocean Beach Access

My two sons and two close friends stayed at the house for 3 nights (Sept. 4-5-6). It was great being on the beach with plenty of room on the porch to soak it all in. Inside, almost any item you need in a kitchen was available. Also, there were charging stations all over the house for everyone to use. Each bedroom was very clean, as well as the bathrooms. I completely recommend this property, and hope to return in the future.

What a great beach house just steps from the beach. So roomy and loved the living room with lots of seating. Also loved the big outside table, chairs and loungers. 2 large decks with plenty of room. Kitchen is well stocked with big assortment of pots, pans, glassware, glasses, plates, spices and so much more. Absolutely love this place. Plenty of storage downstairs for beach chairs and boards. We grilled steaks on the grill. Hopefully we will come back next year.

This house was perfect for taking our group of teens down to Surfside for the weekend! One bedroom down for adults and all other bedrooms upstairs made it ideal. Very well appointed kitchen with tons of supplies and the house was very clean when we arrived! The first floor is up a huge set of stairs so be ready for a workout when you move in LOL. Views of the water were awesome! Just know that the beach in front is obviously public so random people can park right in front of the house and drive on the beach. But the neighborhood is nice and the properties around were really well kept. We had only a few small issues with the house and the 979 crew was super responsive and helpful!

Beautiful home on the beach! I really enjoyed how everything was thought of. The kitchen was fully stocked with tons of pans, plates, silverware, and small appliances. Every detail was thought of. I highly recommend this house!

My family and I had the best weekend at this home! It was comfortable, beautiful, very clean and tidy, and the kitchen was incredible well equipped. We had lots of fun at the beach and also at the house. We’re already planning to go back!! The location is great, we really enjoyed it!

Our stay at this beautiful home was amazing. There was a very minor issue with the refrigerator but they were there within an hour to take care of it. They are very friendly and accommodating hosts. They even left us a welcome basket that included treats for our fur babies. After enjoying each day at the beach, we relaxed on the most comfortable couch ever while enjoying the heavenly view in the A/C. We will definitely be back.

This house had everything you could possibly need- kids dinnerware & toddler silverware, every appliance you could think of, a full cabinet of spices, tons of family games, and the most comfortable and largest couch I’ve ever actually seen/felt. The bathrooms were large & comfortable as well as the rooms. 10/10 recommend staying here! Anything we forgot, the house already had.

Best Beach House view!!! Location was perfect! We had Beach House bar and Grill within walking distance and the views amazing 🤩 the beach was our playground ! Everything was immaculate and very well stocked. We did come across one problem. The dryer stopped working, but the host was very attentive, brought towels daily took our beach towels and wash them. Overall, I give a 10/10 we will definitely rent again! Thank you!

This house was perfect for our family! The location was great with a walk over right next to the house and close enough to the beach to sit on the porch and still be part of the group on the beach. The teens loved the hammmocks!! Restaurants within walking distance!!! We were also very happy to be able to bring our dogs. The kitchen has EVERYTHING you need!!!! There is a bathroom for every bedroom and convenient downstairs half bath. The beds were comfortable and a tv in every bedroom is great! The sofa in the living room was big enough for everyone and was so comfortable. We loved this house and location! Highly recommend.

I can't say enough great things about this unit! Clean, Comfy, Cute, and Comfortable. The kitchen was so well equipped - dishes, appliances, serving, cooking, baking, storing - seriously anything could need, it is there for you. There were games and puzzles too which really helped on the days when the weather wasn't too beachy. The beds were so comfortable and the large couch was great for our group of 7 adults. And you can walk on the beach to a great restaurant/bar if you want. Great location! The deck was beautiful and the furniture out there was great and was more than enough for our group. The beach was great; easy to walk for miles either way. Vehicles drive on the beach which was new to us, but it was totally fine; didn't bother us at all. The hosts were responsive and friendly when we had some AC issues and they sent someone out right away and the problem was fixed. We would definitely choose this unit again on our next trip down here. You won't regret staying here!

I loved that this house was right on the beach so we didn’t have to pile in the car every time the kids wanted to play on the beach. There was a cool restaurant within walking distance so we were able to stay there and truly relax.

It’s a really beautiful house equiped it with all you need. We didn’t bring anything for the kitchen, but it wasn’t needed because everything was there ,super clean, super beautiful, super spacious. In a few words I will go back again!!!

This is our second time renting this property and we have enjoyed it both times! It is a great location, very clean, and the kitchen is fully stocked. Our ONLY complaint from this trip would be the nests of mosquitos around the ground floor/outdoor shower/garage area. We could not even load our cars upon leaving without getting swarmed and attacked. The kids got to where they didn't even want to go down the stairs to get to the beach because the mosquitos were so bad. I understand we have had lots of rain recently, but I think having an exterminator out to treat the grounds would be considerate of future renters. My family left with hundreds of bites. Other than that, once away from the house, we had a wonderful time!

Thank you for the repeat! We're delighted to hear you once again found the home clean and had a wonderful time. As for the mosquitoes, they are truly uninvited guests, sorry about that! You are the correct the heavy rains do not help things and hoping for continued sunny skies to keep things dry. Unfortunately, since this home does not have an actual lawn to treat, just sand (right on the beach), there is nothing to treat. The county trucks have been out spraying, so let's hope this helps as well. Thanks again for allowing us to host you and your group!

Great stay. The house had most everything needed. The check in process was seamless and checkout was easy. The kitchen had most everything we needed to cook or grill. There is essentially 1 bath towel per bed in the house. Some beach towels would have been a pleasant addition, but since we didn’t have a person per bed, we managed. Also, there aren’t any hard surfaces between the outdoor shower and the stairs, so we ended up tracking sand up and down the stairs and deck. There was a water hose by the door to re-rinse your feet before going inside. Loved having direct beach access. We would recommend and would be happy to return in the future.Given that this is a fishing town, having gear to rent would be a helpful amenity, since it can be difficult to fly with all our fishing gear.

The host was very attentive to our needs after we arrived. The house was very clean and had everything we needed to cook our Thanksgiving dinner.We appreciated the king size bed as other houses we rented only had a queen size in the primary bedroom. My only suggestion is to the managing company; replace the vacuum cleaner as it does not pick up the sand from the floors. The house is right on the beach which made our stay very pleasant.

The house was very clean and spacious.. great location and easy access to the beach! We held our leadership retreat here and found that it had plenty of room to accommodate 9 people comfortably. The host was VERY responsive and our check in process was seamless. Highly recommend for large groups of friends/families.

We have stayed here before and love this house and location. We stayed this time just after the hurricane. Sad to see the damage, the dunes missing etc. But our stay here was perfect again! The host was easy to contact and quick to respond. The house is so fully stocked for family meals. The beds comfy. Our family of 4 adults and 4 kids love this place!! We are already checking our calendar to make it back before the end of the year. I must also add the fishing was great, we even caught a baby hammerhead shark! This is our happy place. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We also got to meet a maintenance representative who was very friendly! If you want a nice, relaxing experience on the beach front, stay here.

We spent our Thanksgiving week in the beautiful home. We have 4 adults and 3 kids. Everyone was so happy with the stay. It is right on the beach. Perfection. The beds comfy. The kitchen fully stocked. If you are looking for a great place, stay here. We will be back. The only constructive criticism we have is please replace the light bulbs on the patios and in the string lights. We did not have any outdoor lighting and it is a bit dark. We used our flashlights we brought, and we did not report it, as it's Thanksgiving week and noone wants to be doing minor maintenence like that on a holiday. It wasn't a big deal for us. But worth mentioning for future guests. The layout of the house was perfect. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need! We made Thanksgiving dinner! The tv worked great and the game closet was well stocked. The rooms had very comfy beds, and were perfect for the little ones that wanted to sleep by their parents. The bunk room perfect for the older ones! The bathrooms were sparkling, plenty of towels.. the water is as described so we used bottled water for toothbrushing and cooking. The location was beautiful. Right on the beach, kids and adults were thrilled with that! We caught several red fish and catfish right from the beach! The beach was very clean. The home was easy to find. We are already planning our next trip with the rest of our kiddos. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home with us. We didn't want to leave.

Lovely building and layout with plenty of deck space. Well supplied with all the kitchen and living essentials. Beach is over a mile long and is pure walkable/driveable sand. Nice location with a great ocean view and sunrises worth the seeing. We enjoyed our stay - even in January - and found the location and Ver La Mer Abode to be an outstanding homebase. A great week!

The layout was perfect for a family with only 3 kids- not just rooms with bunk beds. My two adult daughters loved the jointed balcony upstairs and the huge couch was a win for the whole family. The direct access to the beach made beach time easy and we could still see the kids from the balcony. The lounge chairs on the deck was very much appreciated as they were comfortable to hang out on. Check out was easy- we didn’t have to spend all day cleaning before we left.

This house was very clean and beyond well-stocked with games, pillows/linens, kitchen utensils galore. Beautiful beach sunrises every morning and one very spectacular (huge!) blood moon rising during our stay. Hosts were very communicative and thought of just about everything before we did. No good grocery stores in the Surfside area, so highly recommend making a stop at one of the bigger towns as you make your way towards the coast to stock up on supplies.

AC broken for three of six nights we were there, babysat ac contractors three different days. The tap water, brushing teeth, gave both my wife and I stomach cramps and diahrea. This was frustrating because a simple $1200 whole house dual filter plus UV light would fix the issue, and should be expected at the price point. Construction debris and broken glass around the property, not on the beach, but on the actual house property. Master bedroom had no hanging storage, the closet in the room is locked off for the owner. At six nights you need to offer hanging storage. At half the price it would have been annoying. At this price it was ridiculous. Asked property manager to provide a mobile ac or window unit on the their day of ac troubles and they replied that they don't have any (Walmart 20mins down the road) so we had to deal with the ac repair men from 12:30 to 8:34pm that day. Beach location was awesome. Stocked kitchen was awesome. Deck was awesome. Just didn't appreciate being guinea pigs testing out their new listing / acting as a builders punchlist repair service.

We rented the place for a family reunion and the place was amazing! Very clean...and I mean clean! The kitchen was great. Plenty of housewears and pots and pans. Excellent views from the house. The veranda was my favorite...large table and plenty chairs to hang out with the family. The beach can get crowded on the weekend but the beautiful house makes up for it. The property was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed. The kitchen is stocked with everything we needed for cooking for and sharing meals. There was a bar in walking distance, so very easy to walk down for a drink and walk back safely to the house. One evening we drove to the Seahorse for a great meal - a couple of us chose to walk back via the beach and it was the perfect distance to walk off a big meal. Great time - will hopefully rent again before the year is out!

First, let me start out by saying the pictures online do not do this property justice. The cleanliness, decor, location are all unmatched! We were impressed by the layout of the home as well as all of the kitchen necessities- all brand new. We stayed for 1 week and were sad to leave. The communication with the property manager was easy, and quick response time. We had a couple of questions throughout the stay, and were met with an answer very quickly. We were very happy with our choice in homes, and would love to stay again!

This house was everything they promised and more. There were 6 of us staying in the house for a week and the property could have easily accommodated several more. The porches overlook the gulf and getting to the beach was as easy as walking out the door and over a wooden bridge. We enjoyed watching the wildlife (crabs) and of course playing on the beach. The kitchen is completely ready for you to whip up your favorite beach snack or fruity drink with every kitchen appliance/gadget you could think of. The decorations are nice but not cluttered, making it feel like a home away from home. The beds are comfortable and plentiful. The washer and dryer are really nice in case there is a luggage mishap (happened to us). We didn’t need to reach out to the property manager because everything we needed to know was provided in a binder left for us on the counter. Although many of their communications prior to our stay were legalese and not friendly sounding, they were very sweet and reached out to make sure that we had our code and were able to make it in the property (which we were without any issues). Overall, I’d give our stay more stars if I could. The property was wonderful, the amenities top notch, the property managers caring, no issues whatsoever. I’d recommend this property to anyone.

I am pretty picky about places we stay and their cleanliness level. This house was super clean and the kitchen was amazingly stocked with utensils for a family that likes to cook. The beds were so comfy as was the sectional couch we all enjoyed relaxing on. The porch and furniture also gave us another place to hang out together and eat. Glad we were able to bring my daughter’s dog and our elderly dog as it felt like home with them there with us. The beach was easily accessible from the house. Our Labor Day weekend was spectacular in large part due to this house and what it provided for our family of three generations.

Great Beach House, great location right on beach. Kitchen was the most well equipped we have seen over the past 15 years of staying at VRBO Properties. All you need to bring is food. It says it all when your 4-year-old Granddaughter says, "I love this House. It is so beautiful." Highly recommend this beach house.
