Starfish Beach Gem Right ON Beach So Lovely

We had a wonderful visit spending Christmas here with my husband, parents and our furbabies. The property was better than the pictures! Very clean, spacious, and welcoming. The yard was perfect for the dogs big and small! The house was great, felt like home full of everything you’d need. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was spacious plus who doesn’t mind cooking when you can look at the ocean while doing so! The 979 crew was extremely helpful and responsive even over the holiday! We will definitely be back on our next trip to the coast!

My stay was absolutely perfect—exactly what I needed. The ocean view from the deck is incredible, and visiting in the off-season made it especially peaceful and quiet. I loved spending time reading on the deck, listening to the waves, and soaking in the view. The space was also wonderfully dog-friendly: there was a crate available if needed, and the fully fenced yard was easily accessible from the main deck. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

House is right on the water. Perfect spot to walk and enjoy the waves, sand or just to walk around. Plenty of space inside and a great patio under the house with lots of grass for pets. Upstairs deck was a wrap around so we got to see great views of the sunrise and sunset.

We loved staying at this beautiful beachfront home. It was great to be so close to the beach. The view from the porch was perfect. We watched the sun rise every morning. The access road made it easy for those who are fishing to park and unload gear right in front of the house. The home is beautiful, cozy and spacious. Kitchen and living area had everything we needed. Bedrooms all cozy with plenty of beds. We appreciated the fenced yard for our fur babies. It was large for them to run and stay safe. Hosts were very proactive and responsive. We will plan to stay here again soon.

LOVED this place! Perfect for a group or large family with spacious rooms and layout. Great deck furniture to relax and just watch the ocean and the beach! Plenty of parking and very short walk to beach. Located right at the beach entrance so easy access to drive on the beach also. It was plenty COOL inside - so enjoyable after a day outside. Highly recommend this spot for anyone wanting a spacious and convenient location to spend time on the beach! Thank you!

Great place to stay. Easy walk to the beach. House was super cozy. Cute decor. Kitchen fully equipped with all necessary appliances, and dishes. Furniture was very comfortable as were the beds. Home was Spacious and plenty of room to spread out. Loved having shade on the patio. Had every meal out on the patio at the high top patio table and beautiful views. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. We would definitely stay here again. Also Enjoyed the sunset views from the wrap around porch. Perfect gem of a spot for on the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay and more than anything needed some time to relax and recharge from our daily hustle! We got to do exactly that here! We loved being on the beach and each morning, after having coffee on the deck watching the waves crash ashore, we would setup on the beach and spend the rest of the afternoon there. The house is so close we could run up for anything so quickly. We highly recommend this home.

Our stay at this location was amazing. We had easy access to the beach with tons of beautiful beach scenery. The houses are close together but you would never know by how peaceful and quiet it is around. The fenced in yard was amazing, it was nice that my dog was able to play and run around while being secured. We will definitely be going back next year!

This was a very clean beautiful home. The ocean was amazing, but people need to know it is located by a swap so the mosquitos are horrible and it's best to give your dogs extra treatment for fleas.

Well kept property right on the beach! Perfect view of the beach and ocean from the comfortable porch. Lots of space and all the comforts of home! Had all of the amenities we needed. Loved our stay!

Location is great. House is very spacious, everything you need in the kitchen. Beds we’re comfortable and comfy couches. My negative is the 2nd bathroom shower/tube combo feels like it’s going to fall through. I had the other guest use the master shower.

We stayed for the whole month of March and we found the property exactly as advertised. The location was great as were the accommodations. The deck was large and perfect. And the deck furniture was the best we've seen in over twenty years of renting places. Had just a few issues like a broken gate latch that were immediately taken care of by the property manager. We were there during spring break which was unusually quiet and that's the way we like it. We found the house to be in good shape and well furnished with everything you need. I would have liked to seen a better barbecue grill. The one there is old and the weather has had its way with it. But it worked for us so everything was good. Overall, a great property, well taken care of and located right on the beach. If you like to drink your coffee overlooking the beach with a great view, this place is for you. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for direct beach access and terrific accommodations.

Second time staying at Surfside, last time we stayed on Beach Drive right in front of the pedestrian beach. We were looking for a house on the beach and needed a fenced yard for our dogs. This house did not disappoint! We really enjoyed the shade on the deck and spent a lot of time out there watching the waves. Great location with easy beach access. The access road got a little busy over the weekend, but it was never a problem. Overall a great experience!

Fenced yard with large crate for inside-Couldn’t have been any better for pets. If you need a fan , bring your own. No box or small fans in house. Beach was right there. Great views. Close to town, but not too close. They provided hotel style soaps, shampoos, good towels, and laundry detergent. Outside lighting excellent. Beds were all good. King bed was excellent comfort. Downstairs also has comfortable sitting area and table, With charcoal type barbecue grill. Highly recommend this property. We’ll be back.

The house looked just like the pictures. Great view of the ocean. The deck is a great place to hang out. The quality of the towels were nice and big. The kitchen was well stocked, my daughter loves the fun plates for kids. Great outdoor space for our dog, well kept. We will definitely stay at this house again.

Had a relaxing stay here. It was perfect for our pet because of the fenced yard. Beach access was the best! Beach was not crowded during the week at all….weekend was packed!! All in all a great stay.

Our family had a great time staying at the Starfish. This is our second time renting this home but the first time since 979 started managing it and have to say there were some great improvements! If you have dogs, they fenced in the entire property so that was very nice. Bedding is upgraded and the home is very comfortable. We took the golf cart right down Bay Ave to the swan lake boat dock and did a lot of fishing. Great spot! Also, very close to the crabbing pier if you have little ones that's always a fun time. The home is spacious and clean and has everything you need for a great time at the beach. We will be back!

We loved our stay at Starfish House. The entire rental process was seamless. Questions were answered online very quickly. The rooms may actually be a little bigger than they look online. The linens and towels were top notch! The dining room table was oversized: perfect for eating and games The refrigerator was large which is not always the case in vacay rentals. Lots of counter space in the kitchen. While we had a small issue with the coffee pot, I contacted management and a new pot was delivered in a timely manner. The beds were comfortable and the outside deck area was awesome. We will be back! .

Since it won't let me put my real comments in here I will just say it was not worth the price, it does have a beautiful view right on the beach but in the end we had safety concerns and other issues that will make me not just stay in a Vrbo again.

My family and I really enjoyed this home. We felt it was safe, clean, and friendly. And considering it’s pet friendly the fact it had no carpets and was clean was super helpful as we have allergy issues. Our own dogs had a great stay and loved the treats left just for them. Even though it was off-season and a bit cold for our trip, we loved the outdoor table and chairs, they were really comfortable. We spent a lot of time bundled up in blankets at the table. Hope the next family enjoys their time at the house!
