Definitely need some upgrading.\nCouches most uncomfortable.\nWas very foggy out so stayed in watching tv, very uncomfortable.\nA few roaches daily, one in bed with us second nite.

Thank you for allowing us to host your stay, but we're sorry to hear you found the futon couch uncomfortable for TV watching on a less than sunny day at the coast. We agree futons aren't the friendliest of seating types and have passed your feedback along to this home's owner. As for any roaches, they certainly are not welcomed guests. This condo, like all of our homes, is on regular professional pest control. They have been a bit of a bugger this year, quite literally, and we do our best to combat these coastal pests. Sorry they made an appearance during your stay. We do hope you enjoyed some beach time on your holiday.

Overall, our stay was great. House was as described in listing. Our only complaint was the bathtub was very rusty around the drain area and outside the tub.

Thank you for such a wonderful weekend. My husband and I are celebrating our wedding anniversary and it was a beautiful way to celebrate. We work many hours a week and we were thinking of coming at least once a month to release stress in this spectacular place, with the sea breeze and the sound of the waves. Everything has been too spectacular: the location, the view of the ocean, the proximity of the beach, the distribution of the spaces, everything has been excellent. Thank you!

Great 2 day get away right on the beach! Close to crabbing, fishing and restaurants. Not fancy but thats's ok. Comfortable bed!

Nothing special about the inside. Small and outdated but It’s really just about the location. Perfect spot, right on the beach. Can just walk out and go.

It really is an amazing seaside spot, thank you for noting and we agree! While not the fanciest, they are meant to be a clean, comfortable and coastal, yet an affordable escape for those who enjoy the salty, sandy and sea air direct oceanfront - all of which are great for beachgoers but do take their toll on the condo units. The owner is constantly improving them. Thank you for allowing us to host your stay!

Excellent location… the beach couldn’t be any closer… the sun rises right of the deck and the sun sets behind providing some good shade in the hot afternoon sun.. the location is basic and nothing fancy but puts you right where you want to be. The couch which turns into bed is not comfortable and there is no extra bedding. Our biggest concern was the AC was struggling… during the afternoon hours the temperature was seldom below 87 inside.. also has the basics but not extras so gonna need your own spices and extras.. if it’s the beach you want this is the place… if you want something fancy and extravagant than look elsewhere… nice community and location I would definitely go back.

It really is an excellent seaside spot, thank you for noting and we agree! If beachfront and center is your goal, this is the place! While not the fanciest, these condos offer a clean, comfortable and coastal yet affordable escape for those who enjoy the sandy and sea breeze beachgoer experience. We also agree a futon couch does not make the best bed, but it is what fits in these smaller units. We are very upfront about bringing your own bedding, if you intend to use it for that purpose. We'd love to have you back for some more beach time, thank you for allowing us to host your stay!

Nice property, great views, get up for sunrise - Spectacular view, steps from front door. Good value. No dishwasher (even though checkout instructions tell you to start dishwasher on departure). Bring your own water for drinking.

Location was perfect! Right on the beach! The beach house is nice, a little outdated, & the bathtub definitely needs replaced, as you can tell the salt water has not been easy on it. The water smelted like sewage the whole time we were there. The WiFi/TV in the living room didn’t work half the time, but you’re at the beach! The views from the deck were beautiful! The amenities were nice! Overall, would stay here again!

When they say, "steps from the beach", they MEAN steps from the beach! It was the perfect size and distance for me and my kiddos. It was a bit cold but they had a great time and that's all that matters! Looking forward to staying again.

Property was not ready to be occupied. Sheet rock dust and paint on deck and walkway. Light bulbs burned out. Kitchen faucet installed incorrectly. Opposite directions.

The description of the property is completely accurate. It is very clean and right on the pedestrian beach. As someone that likes to cook, the kitchen could be a little more equipped. Wine glasses are a must for any beach house. There’s not any place to put down your toiletry bags etc. The bathroom sure is big enough to add shelves of some sort. Or, a small piece of furniture with drawers. Communication was thorough and swift. If you want a great balcony to people watch and enjoy the gulf, this is your place. Location was perfect and right on beach. Watching the sunrise in front of the condo. Walking distance to local Bar and Grill with outdoor amenities. Upstairs is best for December warm weather due to mosquitoes. Had a great time walking the beach and soaking up the sounds of the waves.

The bed was very comfortable and the linens were nice and soft. The furnishings were basic - and we had no problem with that. Our only issue had to do with the water. The city water is terrible but we expected the owners would have a water softener or other type of treatment. It was difficult to shower as the water smelled and looked so bad - we smelled bad even after we showered! We have rented other properties in Surfside and all have treated the water so this was a surprise for us and we would not stay at this place again.

I received an email with my access code the day before arrival. The house was extremely clean. Beach is literally at your backdoor.

Had a really good time over all. There were only two minor complaints. At first I didn’t see the bbq grills mentioned, contacted management they told me where they were. They were the steel charcoal grills like you see in parks sometimes that were posted into the ground. They are both on one side of the building along the fence line. Convenient only if you are staying in the bottom level unit on that side of the building. Otherwise you are hiking up and down a ton of stairs every time a burger is ready. That’s fine if you are cooking for one or two people, but I had a friends and family in all three top floor units. I ended up buy a different grill to use while we were there. Second, the wifi mentioned is non-existent. I asked management about it because I couldn’t find the signal. they responded and told me that the instructions are in the information book. It’s in the book, (but so are instructions for a dishwasher that doesn’t exist) however the only two times we even saw the network show up it had zero signal and was unusable. One of the towels had a big circular kind of crusty brown stain on it. That wasn’t a huge deal, we just didn’t use that towel. There are also instructions on how to use the thermostat, however you don’t actually have control over it. Every time we changed the setting, it would change back after about 30-40 seconds. So it was a bit hot in the room at night. We’ve stayed in the building before when the Hotel down the street owned it, and that a little more pleasant. These issues could be addressed immediately by the night staff. When these issues were brought up this time I had to leave a message and/or send an email and wait a while for a response. The location is awesome, and if you like to stay in a room that’s a bit on the warm side, then I t’s perfectly fine. But for the price, we will likely just rent an actual beach house next time and not return to this location.
