This is our 2nd time staying at this home. We really enjoy the clean, well appointed home and the location is great for us. We love sitting out on the deck watching the waves roll in right in front of us, enjoying the great furniture provided on the upper deck. The short drive to the beach in either a golf cart or in our vehicle is not a problem and we typically head down to the 2nd or 3rd access point to get away from the crowds. We will definitely consider this a first choice in the future.

The problem with the septic system was unacceptable. Raw sewage draining onto the patio below. When we notified them, they said its a problem with the city sewage backed up and that they were aware. The outdoor shower was not functioning. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

This is the best spot by far. This is the last morning of our stay. I made a breakfast of eggs, sausage and juice that we ate watching the waves hitting the shore. Sooo relaxing. The place was equipped and clean. The views are spectacular. Spent most of it on the deck just looking at the ships slowly roll in. You can hear the sound of the ocean when you sleep. It was great. All in all the house was great, the view was amazing, the cleaning crew could have done better on floors and bathrooms. The house itself is great but the town offers not much to do or see locally.

We agree Matthew, this home really is in a special scenic spot right next to the sand and surf! Thank you for noting. Given this home's direct beachfront location, it does tend to bring in plenty sand and salt once the front door is opened which makes it tough on floors and flat surfaces. And given this is a popular place, it is not short of guests doing just that! That said, we appreciate the feedback and have passed it along to our housekeepers. We apologize for any inconvenience as a result. As for Surfside Beach, we're not sure what type of activities or scenes you were looking for, but we would have been happy to provide some suggestions. This village has a whole lot of loved restaurants, fishing and crabbing piers, surfing, boating and more!

We arrived for a two week stay. First time experience on the Gulf coast. The beach house was like home on Lake Superior with the international shipping travel and waves enjoyed by surfers in we suits. Grand fun to observe with binoculars from the top deck. Seafood, fruit and veggies spectacular compared to home in MN. Foggy days reminder me of sailing summers in Maine. Loved the total relaxation and weather. Not too hot which made walking the beach wonderful. Small town feel with friendly locals House was nothing short of perfect. Super response from management with any questions we had during the stay. In good hands for sure. Will look to book again. Thank you soooo much

This beach house is beautiful! The kitchen is well stocked and all appliances were clean and worked great! The living areas were spacious and not cluttered. The bathrooms were clean. The bedrooms were decorated tastefully and the beds very comfortable. The furniture on the deck is great and the view could not be better. Although we did not use the outside fire pit/grill area because of the weather, this would be a great area to congregate. We stayed in January so beach access was not a necessity. The only drawback I see is there is not total beach access in front as the home is located in the ocean wall area and hanging out on the beach would be difficult. I highly recommend Sea Forever!

Sometimes pictures are old or embellished to make things look newer or better than they really are but this rental is exactly what was pictured. Very comfortable inside & out. Property manager was very responsive. Great experience. Highly recommended.

This is a very nice house in a wonderful location. We really enjoyed our stay. I have to admit that I miss the personal experience feeling dealing with actual individuals instead of a corporation though!

I assure you we are all very human on our end at 979, so I'm not sure what is meant by a corporation (maybe that is in reference to your booking through VRBO)? In fact, our entire team is local from our reservations team-Amber & Ashley-to our field hospitality manager-Carmen and her housekeepers-to Daniel our maintenance manager in Surfside. We were pleasantly impressed with our VRBO home and stay on Surfside Beach. The house was upgraded clean and very comfortable. We loved our beach views and for 6 adults o er 60 it was great. The nicest beach house I have ever visited in this area. I would recommend it to anyone!

The cabin was everything expected. Had a very good experience. The only issue that we incurred was that the bathroom shower never would get hot, so we were all taking luke warm showers.

Beautiful home on the Gulf on the break wall side of Surfside. Pictures were exactly as presented. We enjoyed six weeks and needed nothing. The property is well appointed with all cooking needs. We would choose this property again for a shorter or longer stay!

I loved the location right in the water. The place was very clean, well appointed, and management was very responsive. I could tell the owners put a lot into the house with all the needed appliances and kitchenware. I really appreciated the huge TV and care package with incidentals. Great place and I love love to visit again sometime!

We had a wonderful time being on the beach. We loved sitting on the patio and watching the surfer’s on the waves. The home is clean and updated. The king size beds and linens were so comfortable. We will be back this was an awesome vacation.

This property is very nice and we really enjoyed our stay. Even in August the ocean breeze made sitting on the covered deck enjoyable. Mornings watching the waves and evenings relaxing to the sound of the ocean were lovely. Definitely would stay at this property again

We really enjoyed our stay, spent a lot of time on the porch watching the dolphins play in the waves, pelicans diving for food, and surfers enjoying the waves. Excellent place, highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing view! Great access to the beach. We enjoyed being able to sit on the porch and watch the surf. Everything was nice and clean. Very comfortable seating and beds. Kitchen was well equipped. Only bad thing we had to say about this place is we couldn't stay longer! Lol
