. We stayed here for 4 days and absolutely loved it. Check-in was very easy and stress-free. The location was great and convenient, and the interior was beautiful—stylish, clean, and very comfortable. The view was gorgeous and really made the stay feel special. Overall, a wonderful experience and we would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home, beautiful beach!! Just a couple of things to note if you stay here. The water pressure in the house is non existent…if you are washing clothes or dishes don’t start a shower upstairs because you won’t have any water. This did not ruin our stay but we would have liked knowledge of this before we ended up in this situation. Secondly the dryer only blows cold air, again not a huge issue but we have bags of wet clothes that we will be rewashing when we return home. I like to wash everything before we leave so I have less to do when I return home. All in all we had a great stay, we worked around the issues and had a great time.

In the past 5 years of renting beach houses for our annual family trip this house by far was the most comfortable. The house was spacious and clean. I reported an issue upon getting to the house and I received immediate response and solution. Look forward to renting this house for future trips!

We had some issues with a broken dryer. The replacement didn’t function properly either but we managed to rig it temporarily. However, the service repairman couldn’t come until the day after we left. There were some other minor issues with the house, but considering that Surfside was still recovering from a Category 1 hurricane, it was nothing significant. The house was in a great location, clean and we enjoyed our stay despite any issues. We would stay there again. Host was responsive to our needs.

The house was beautiful and a perfect size for the 5 of us. It could easily fit more people if you have a bigger family. The location to the beach was great, enabling us to walk back and forth whenever we wanted. We stayed at the house during the week, so beach access was a breeze with no traffic on the road outside the house. We didn’t have any mosquito issues. The washing machine and dryer is big and looked relatively new. The house was clean, and we have zero complaints. All the beds were comfy! Bring your own hangers if you want more than a few. Dishwasher and appliances all worked great. There’s a lot of seating in the living room and kitchen, and we never ran out of room to lounge around and play games. The one thing I noticed were a few of the vertical wooden slats were loose around the porches. It wasn’t a problem for us, but if someone comes with a small dog or child, it could be.

Great stay, really close to the beach. Great location. Comfortable stay and very clean. Sofa and a few furnishings are in need of replacing but didn’t affect our stay. Would stay again.

This home is absolutely beautiful & spacious! Decor is suburb. Owners always responded quickly & very helpful. Beds were so comfortable! The house was very clean, however, the couches & pillows need a deep clean (several stains). Refrigerator freezer door was broken so almost was unable to use (to store ice). Bathroom sink stoppers are broken & stuck so unable to drain. Please check the security cipher lock on front door as it never locked when we closed it. All in all, this home is beautiful, comfortable, spacious, & super close to beach!

This was a great trip with family friends! There were 8 of us and the house felt spacious. The close access to the beach made things super easy and you still had a good amount of beach space. It was way more packed down further on both sides of the beach. The kitchen was fully stocked with pretty much everything you need to cook, but lacking sharp knives. They provide you with 3 of each of the following: laundry pods, dishwasher tablets, rolls toilet paper per bathroom and paper towels, trash bags, and a small dawn dish soap with a sponge. We had to buy cleaner to wipe the counters off. There was only an old broom with a cracked dust pan. Master is the only room upstairs. It’s spacious and the bed is really comfortable! It didn’t seem like the thermostat matched the temp of the room.. The downstairs stayed cold very easily and the upstairs felt warmer even if it was on the same temp, but not uncomfortable. No early check in but nicer than expected and I would stay here again!

Overall, this was an incredible get away experience. The location just steps away from beach is great and descriptions matched what we found in the house…just do not forget to bring mosquito repellent, mosquitoes may become an issue if you don’t.

The property location was great. We were within a short walking distance from the beach. The house was a good size and the kitchen was spacious. It had a deck on two levels which faced the beach….this was the best part of the house. One of the mattresses was totally worn out and I had to sleep in another room. The mats in the bathroom were dirty. Even with those sore points it was a great stay.

The house was very welcoming! Large kitchen and family room for our party of 7! Minor issues with tv access. Had to download Vizio app for remote control to tv. No instructions in welcome book for main room tv. Also water spout in main bathroom spitting out water straight out on user! 979 management company were prompt and helpful to resolve both issues. Towel rack broken in main bathroom. Could also use scissors to open food packaging. Other than that all went well and we enjoyed our stay very much!!

The property is licated in a great spot. The only real disapointnent was the outdoor furniture. Pictured is a nice rattan couch type piece of furniture on the deck off the master. Turned out it was unseatable (broken). Would be nice if an inhouse water filter was installed so you didn't have to have gallons of drinking water. Otherwise comfy.

The property’s location is perfect. It really is. And I hate sharing negative news but for any future renters, here it goes. The pictures are a little misleading. Definite wear and tear on the home. One of the kitchen tables chairs was completely worn - couldn’t use it (my husband almost fell through). Mirror was torn off the wall and just sitting in the master bath. 2nd bath drain was clogged. Mgmt was responsive but kind of seemed like meh on their responses. But we were there to just take time off and hang out at the beach, so we didn’t let the above freak us out. Cleanliness of the house was acceptable and really was a great space to hang. Warning - the mosquitoes are HORRIBLE. nothing the mgmt can do but once the sun goes down, plan to be inside. Overall, fun stay due to company and location. Also note, we stayed here a few months back on Sept 2021. Some fixtures and updates could have happened between now and then. FYI.

I have 6 kids. This property was fantastic for all of them and us. Our kids range from 15 to 3 months and the bunk room and guest room were perfect for the 5. We brought our own bed for the infant; which was just fine. The master being upstairs with its own bathroom and balcony was super nice too. The house was clean and the shower outside was great for the kids to hose off before actually going inside to shower. They provided a lot of small essentials like dish soap, sponges, trash bags, dishwasher pods etc. Remember to get your own water jugs though because the water isn't drinkable, but they did warn us of that in their welcome email. So we were able to prepare. The beacha access one house down was great, but cars are able to drive on to it. During the week was not busy at all. We went in the morning and in the evening a few times and there was always plenty of room. However there were no shells at this beach. So if you or your kids are wanting to find shells we recommend the San Luis Pass before you cross the toll bridge towards Galveston. It's on the left hand side. Go at low tide, and you'll find some really cool shells and hermit crabs. This property was wonderful. My kids and husband were super impressed and loved every minute! So definitely a mom win!

We had a great stay and the house was as advertised. The house was clean, close to the beach, easy to get to, well maintained and easily accommodated myself, my spouse, daughter & son-in-law, sister, sister-in-law and granddaughter. We have a few observations to share: the trash cans were about 2/3 full when we arrived on Friday, but by the next day they were full and we hadn't put any trash into them.. Apparently non-guests helped themselves to your cans. My son-in-law was able to compact the trash on our last day to get ours in, but it would have been nice to be able to have easier access to the cans. The upstairs deck door handle was missing on the outside, which we didn't notice until we were all on the deck enjoying the beautiful view of the water. Luckily, our other daughter came to pick something up and was able to come through the house to let us back in. My son-in-law found the exterior handle on the night stand and was able to fix it. However, someone might want to look at that to make sure it is fully corrected. The free-standing ice maker in the kitchen had an error code flashing when we arrived. It was empty, so we unplugged it. Just observations for you - these issues did not impact our stay, but we wanted to pass them along to you. A great stay was enjoyed by all!

Loved this stay! We had a short weekend for my sons 3rd birthday. The house was just far enough to not be right next to all the bush areas of Surfside but close enough to restaurants etc. the house was beautiful and very clean. Plenty of space. Very close to beach! Check in and out was very easy, did not have to spend the last day cleaning and doing a bunch of laundry. Definitely recommend!

Great experience and beautiful property! Enjoyed everything and ease of check-in. Only two minor recommendations from our group….new mattresses are needed in downstairs bedrooms for sure. Nobody slept well on those hard mattresses. The pots and pans were plentiful in the kitchen but they really need to be replaced….they are damaged and worn and for those of us who cook, this is important. Other than that, we will for sure be back to enjoy more of Las Brisas and what is has to offer.

The house was clean and well stocked, including a welcome basket with hair, body wash, dishwasher tabs, dish soap, Landry tabs, koozies, etc. The furniture was matching and they had nice toilet paper. Not always found in a rental 😁. My wife didn’t complain about anything ( that might be a first). Overall one of the nicest houses we’ve stayed at in Surfside. Only thing missing was a table by the grill. It is a great spot, across from the boat ramp, close to the crabbing pier, with beach access frontage. ( boat ramp sign across street makes it easy to find).

Our family had a wonderful stay at Surfside. The community was the nicest of all! Everyone was extremely accommodating and friendly! The house had a few hick-ups but not bad. The ice maker didn’t work, the air filter system was very dirty, and it would have been nice to have a broom. Steven, was very easy to work with, he was quick to respond to any questions we might have had and when we were making our initial reservation he was able to help us fix our conundrum! I will want to come back and stay again! We went crab fishing daily in the bay, we caught flounder, mackerel, and catfish. We bought bait at several of the bait shops, prices were good and the people were helpful with what we should use to catch our fish. People even gave us their left over bait they weren’t going to use! Impressive! We had dinner our first night at red snapper!!! The best food out there! Our adventures took us to many of the local restaurants, we were always happy with the food, price and service. The closest grocery store we found was Kroger’s, in Clute. Never having shopped at that store we found everything we could ever hope for! The location of the house was perfect for swimming in the ocean or fishing in the bay. The best if both worlds! We found the Getty pier, that was a lot of fun to fish off of, and crabbing at the crab pier was nice as well, yet we found more crab at the last pier on swan lake to be the best! Thank you Surfside for a wonderful week!

The beds are nice quality as reviewed by others. The AC is locked at 70 degrees which is fine for the day time but at night when the outside temperature drops the upper master bedroom AC stops running at 70 but the humidity climbs in that room and you have no control to run the AC to get the humidity down. The lower room AC has issues and ran low on freon. The on call person for the house was very responsive and nice. It was repaired within 3 hours. The kitchen is well stocked. If you cook a lot, bring extra dishwasher soap and garbage bags. House has a great layout for the guests! The outdoor shower is a great option to have when coming in from the beach.

We had a great extended weekend at this awesome house. It is very clean and perfectly equipped; the upstairs master bedroom is amazing :) The beach tends to be crowded and noisy in the weekend; more suitable for grown-up fun then calm kid-friendly vacation. We also enjoyed the little nearby restaurants. We highly recommend this house and the area.

Easy walk to the beach, and although there were lots of folks, it didn't feel too crowded. Compared to other sections of Surfside. Comfy beds, nice and roomy for a large family or 2 small families vacationing together. Well stocked kitchen items. Pretty clean. Good communication with property management. Dealt with tini tiny ants coming through kitchen window, and a fridge that didn't keep our food cold. (Ruined a couple of our made ahead dishes). Would recommend they replace the fridge soon, doesn't need to be fancy by any means, but needs to keep food cold). :) Overall great place, would go back and stay again.

Property was very clean and very peaceful. We enjoyed our stay and will book again soon. The only downfall was that the rental agreement states that there is a propane grill but there was not one. Did not come prepared with charcoal so had to cook inside. Other than that we had a great time

The property was very clean, and the kitchen held many of the items that I forgot to pack. The only issue we had was the master bathroom water pressure for the shower, wish that was better! But overall, this was a GREAT weekend and renting this property made it even more special and relaxing!

This house was great. It's right next to the beach, very spacious, we had 9 people at one point and plenty of room. There is seating in the living and dining room for everyone which is not always the case. The beds are very comfortable and the towels and bedding were great. We loved the master suite on the top floor for the privacy and luxury. The downside is the beautiful shower in the large bath had almost no water pressure. We ended up showering in the outdoor shower which had plenty of pressure and hot water. Fortunately there was no one staying in the houses nearby so no one to see. The other thing they don't mention in the description but we knew from other listings, is the water is undrinkable in Surfside so you need to purchase bottled water for drinking, cooking and brushing your teeth. We enjoyed our stay but won't return to Surfside due to the water issues. If you don't mind bringing in your own water and the water pressure issues, I highly recommend this house. We set up a canopy for shade on the beach and left it there until we left with no problems. It's not a touristy place and it's a great place to just relax and enjoy the beach. Oh and Dorado's Dive Club was a great place to eat!

House is great and it’s a very short walk to the beach. Only negative I have is the water at the home. The water from the faucets is so noticeably disgusting. It smells like a mixture of saltwater and sewage gas. Taking a shower felt gross. Again I want to say the house was great and the location was prime. I’m not sure how they can fix the cities disgusting water issue. Possibly a better whole home water filter

We came down to celebrate our engagement and a birthday! This property was perfect! Right off the beach but had the perfect view! Very clean. When we needed to communicate with property management they were very fast with communication! We had a great time and will definitely book this property again

Unfortunately it rained most of our stay, but we were still able to get some beach time in. The house is so nice, it's a good house to be stuck in. Enjoyed time on the balconies and watched movies. The best thing about this house and company that leases it is how spotless the house is. This is the second time we rented this property and it far exceeds anything else we've ever rented (I've been renting on the gulf for 20+years). They offer soaps, shampoo, garbage bags, paper towels, dish washing and laundry soap, and toilet paper where we used to have to pack all those things. There are even a few "goodies" included. Bathrooms are nice, towels are big and soft, beds are comfortable and decorations are tasteful. I highly recommend this house.

The beach is not my fave and gets super busy on Saturday's but that’s a personal preference. Love the restaurants nearby the food is so good, pricey but yummy. The house was amazing and the AC works well!!!! Yes, mosquitoes are crazy bad under the deck so just bring your off spray as you’re near the beach. Thank you for a comfortable stay, the home is very spacious and had everything we could need!!

House was beautiful, location was on a main street entry to the beach so traffic was non-stop and even though beach was a super short walk, it was so crowded right there and traffic was so difficult to deal with that we packed up and drove to another beach. It was our first time to Surfside and we will never go back.. There was nothing to do within 30 miles other than a couple of restaurants and the beach traffic and water quality were just bad. We also had our little dogs with us and although the beach is supposed to be dog friendly, the traffic is dangerous and there are sand spurs everywhere. Every time we took the dogs out to pee we had to remove 20+ spikey stickers from their little paws and fur. The house itself was well stocked and very nice. Clean on the surface, but our dog's ball rolled under the couch and it was extremely dirty. I understand not cleaning under furniture all the time, but this had to be accumulation over a very long time. Beds, linens and towels were GREAT which is unusual at a beach rental. If you like Surfside and the area, the house is pretty nice, but if you haven't been here I would warn you not to waste your money.

My wife son and another couple stayed in this home for a short vacation. It was a nice place to stay to get away and enjoy the beach. Everything was clean and decorated with a beach theme. The only draw back was the the downstairs bathtub leaked and didn't drain well. Upstairs needed some plumbing help as well. This home is in a great location to access the beach. It's not surrounded by a lot of other homes, so it was nice and quiet.

We enjoyed our stay. Location is perfect for the beach, and going to get supplies into town. 10 of us stayed in house and had plenty of room. Four 50 year olds, and kids 22, 20, 19,18,17,15. We would definitely stay there again!!

This home is right off the beach. We enjoyed the privacy of the location on the beach, and being able to sit on the patio and listen to waves, feel the wind in our hair. and see the beautiful sandy beach. House was spotlessly clean, well equipped, and the most comfortable beds ever!! We are in love with the bed linens! Beautiful decorations and the patios are to die for! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The house was a beautiful clean house close enough to the beach and beautiful views. The only down side was the leaky tap in the second bathroom and some of the TV remotes not working because the batteries were old. Overall it was a beautiful place and we will definitely be coming back .

We have stayed in this house before and loved every bit of it. This stay I had to do a lot of cleaning before we could unpack and one of the beds had very dirty sheets. All of that was very disappointing. Management did offer to send the cleaners back over, but really why would you want them there cleaning on your complaint while you are there. After I got everything cleaned up we had a great stay.

This is by far the cleanest house we’ve ever rented, and we’ve rented a lot. Everything about it was perfect. The upper deck was a huge bonus with a wonderful view. The furnishings were comfortable and very pretty. All new appliances including the refrigerator and washer and dryer. The only negative is that it’s located on an entrance road so there was a lot of traffic on the weekend. It wasn’t a problem on weekdays. We will definitely rent this house again.

Las Brisas was everything we wanted in a relaxing getaway! The house is clean & well kept, linens are comfy and towels are fluffy & fresh. The refrigerator is brand new & the other appliances look like they are new as well. The master bedroom carpet is also new. A very short walk to the beach to watch the sunrises, the decks are partially covered, perfect for viewing the gulf, especially on the cool lounger by the master but also really enjoyed the sunsets over the bay from that upstairs deck. In addition to the outdoor shower and garage hose set up, liked the extra water faucet on the side deck for one last spot to rinse your feet before going inside. Picnic table by the grill makes a great spot for toasting smores! Grateful to the owners for sharing their beautiful home. Will definitely come back!
