전반적으로 편안하고 시설이 훌륭했습니다. 다만 winterstorm 기간이었는데 3개 중 2개 방에 난방이 되지 않아서 춥게 지냈습니다. 호스트는 직원을 보내준다고 하였지만 체크아웃 시점까지 난방을 관리하는 직원은 방문하지 않았습니다. 다른 기간에는 Galveston 날씨가 춥지 않기 때문에 문제가 되지는 않을것 같습니다.

You are correct, it is rarely winter level cold here on the island, and you caught a few very cold days during your stay. We aren't aware of any issues with the heating and sorry if you found things a bit chilly. We would love to host you again for a warmer "beach normal" stay in the future!

There were really good things we appreciated and a few things that could be improved. Close to check-in we received a text message about check-in and a link for directions. The link did not work as Maps doesn’t recognize 1/2 streets. After back and forth and several times; it was suggested that 1/2 street was the issue. When we arrived there was a representative for house. We found out there was no furnace. It was very hot that day but temperatures were going to drop so we needed the furnace. Upon further discussion there was not another property that would meet our needs, so we decided to tuff it out. The HVAC was fixed the next day and the provided us with a generous refund to compensate us. The property is very walkable to beach and Restaurants. The secure parking was a bonus. The kitchen was well stocked with nice appliances. The bedrooms were well appointed with very comfortable beds. My grandchildren enjoyed the bunk beds. The bathrooms were very nice, except the mold. Excellent!

Thank you for allowing us to host you Suzanne, and we appreciate the compliments regarding this home and our crew. We try our best even when surprise heating issues occur in an area where heat is rarely used. We do love our ACs down on the coast. We're sorry you had a bit of difficulty finding this home. We haven't had any other guests mention that, but we are glad one of the 979 crew members was there to help you navigate and even arrive before check-in time. We definitely are in a humid and salty sea air environment, but we are not aware of any issues with the grill or mold, but we will certainly check them out. Thank you again for allowing us to host you.

This property is very well cared for. The photos are an accurate representation of the current state of the home. Beds were all comfortable, linens were fresh and clean, house was fully stocked with everything to meet our needs. Management left us a personal hand written note which included a few special treats for our dog and they were even thoughtful enough to leave a little something extra since we were staying on a holiday. A rare unexpected surprise. We enjoyed this property so much that I reached out to inquire about their other properties for another upcoming trip. Very impressed with the entire process and the entire team. We look forward to booking again with this group.

We loved staying in this house for our wedding weekend! The house is beautifully decorated, clean, well-stocked & has a phenomenal location. We walked to the Galvez bar for a nightcap. The yard was secure and perfect for our pup. Beds were comfortable! Would definitely stay here again!

This home was perfect for our large group. It had more kitchen utensils, dishes etc than any Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Everything was exactly as advertised. I asked one question regarding parking during our week long stay and received an immediate, positive response. Very clean and easy access to the beach and the strand. The location is as perfect as it gets. This will definitely be our first choice for our yearly visits to Galveston.

979 was responsive and had everything that was described. We enjoyed our stay and made lots of memories. The inside is newly remodeled and modern. There was 8 in our party and were comfortable in the house. Thank you for quickly responding, we were in desperate need due to Hurricane Beryl! Thanks for the fun memories.

Really happy with this rental! It’s a lot nicer and more spacious than the listing made it seem in my opinion. Also lots of items and amenities not mentioned in the listing like blender, toaster, coolers, boogie boards, board games, pack & play, etc. Check in was easy and the key pad was very convenient. AC works great though the bedrooms were a bit warm at night, nothing major. We had a group of 4 but it would have been just as comfortable with more people and dogs as well. Location was an easy walk to a beach access point and the back yard view is the Galvez Hotel. Check out process was also very easy and just required taking out trash / loading dishwasher no messing with towels/sheets/etc.

This house was fabulous. It fit 8 of us very comfortably and the instructions for everything were easy to understand. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean. It was a great weekend! I would absolutely stay here again!

Home exceeded my expectations! This an old home with character, but updated decor and appliances. Kitchen was fully stocked with quality utensils, dishes, cookware, and small appliances. Beds, linens, and bath towels were luxurious as well. Beds were really comfortable. The overall feel of the home is comfy and cozy. The location is great. Walking distance to the seawall, Murdoch’s, the pleasure pier, and much more. I didn’t need to contact the host much, but when I did they responded immediately. Great stay, highly recommend!

Our family enjoyed the stay here. It was walkable to the beach. The place was very clean. Looked like there had been a pretty recent remodel and touch-ups on original materials and trimwork. The neighborhood was pretty good. Pretty close to restaurants, pleasure pier, also easy to get to the Strand district / downtown area. Plenty of towels for our family (when using the washer and dryer on premesis). Only complaints would be that the rear door lock mechanism is very tricky to get locked completely and some of the rooms airflow from the vents could use adjustment. The bathrooms were nice and clean. The layout and Kitchen area were great for our family of 8. For the most part everyone slept well on the matresses. All in all it was a great stay for us! Thanks for hosting us!

Some noise pollution from dogs in nearby rentals, We stayed at this site previously and knew it would fit our needs - one large bedroom that could fit parents with small 2 yr old twins and 2other bedrooms on other side of house for others. House has nice linens, towels, and kitchen ware.

This house was amazing! So clean, so beautiful, and everything was perfect. Great hospitality and fantastic location. Right next to the pier and perfect view of Hotel Galvez. 10/10 would recommend - an absolutely amazing stay!

Everything was nice, stylish and well-equipped. My 2 kids enjoyed having their own bedrooms, and it was nice that the master was remote. Very easy walk to the beach, Miller's Grill and Murdoch's. The older Keurig was a little tricky to get more than a few tablespoons of coffee from, but they had a regular coffee pot too. I couldn't get the back gate to open from the outside keypad so we just parked in the front and never had any issues. Those are tiny things that didn't bother us much at all, and everything else really was perfect. Our bed was really comfortable. Overall, a very nice place. 5 stars.

We came for the Izquierda festival with all of our family. We were able to walk to the beach and the festival in 5 minutes. Close to great food, pleasure pier, golf cart rentals etc. The house is beautifully remodeled leaving all of the historic charm. Perfectly equipped for a short stay but close to convenient store for longer needs. We would definitely book again.

The house was well designed. The primary suite was on one side of the house, which provided separation, if needed. The other two bedrooms were spacious and had good closet space. Both bathrooms were well designed. The front yard and back yard were connected and fenced in, so Roxy the Dog was able to enjoy the yard. Parking is available in the back yard via the alley. The beach, seawall, Murdoch’s was just a short walk away. We hope to be back next year.

This is the nicest rental we’ve visited in town - normally we have to go out to Pirates Beach or Pointe West for something this nice. All updated, roomy kitchen and bedrooms and all the necessary cookware is there. Fantastic location as well. We’ll look for this one again.

We had such a great stay at Grand Galvez Getaway. The house was spotless, super comfortable, well appointed, and the location can’t be beat-minutes from the beach! Management company also went above and beyond responding to our questions politely and promptly even after hours. This property was perfect, we would love to come back again soon!

This home was perfect for a relaxing Christmas week with our granddaughter, who is at Coast Guard Station Galveston. It is spacious with three bedrooms and two full baths. The home was exactly as advertised and the location is excellent with many restaurants nearby. The kitchen is well equipped and the furniture is comfortable. We had two small dogs so the fenced yard and electric gate were appreciated.

Property was excellent, so comfortable and clean, would go back, but need to talk to neighbors on corner they have a dog they leave out all the time and he barks non stop. Sad for dog and does get on your nerves after a while. But hopefully if that taken care of , the property is a 10+
