Bluewave Paradise Huge Deck Overlooking the Sea

This was our 3rd stay at an Airbnb in Treasure Island Community. Always peaceful relaxing, laid-back atmosphere.We were right off the water so it was beautiful . Fishing, couldn't ask for a better spot. husband brought home his red fish and gafftop. What a place to get a way from work and forget you troubles. The home clean, well kept and comfortable beautiful.

This home was very clean and nicely decorated. Everything felt fresh from the linens to the decor. The kitchen was well equipped. It was easy to get in and an easy walk to the beach. Waking up to the spectacular view a huge balcony. Great place.

I mean, meh. Comfy linens and beds. Complete kitchen. Nice bath rooms and very cleanish. Perfect location. Exterior needs a lot of TLC.

This really is the perfect direct seaside location, Terry, and with that comes the constant sand, salt, and strong sea breezes doing their part on the exteriors (literally sand blasting daily). While beautiful to look it, it requires consistent upkeep in which this home's owner does actually, so your review is a bit surprising. Perhaps you are unfamiliar with coastal homes this close to the surf? We are sorry to hear you were disappointed. We appreciate your compliments on the linens, bedding, kitchen amenities and bathrooms.

This was a return visit to the area. Unfortunately not a positive experience due to the home. I'll start on a positive note- The water view was nice. The Dolphins and watching fishermen entertained us. AC worked great, nice bathrooms and the price was reasonable. However, in my opinion the home needs maintenance and unsafe for kids and pets. When I arrived I first noticed broken dried flowers with black electrical tape, mildew on the loungers, chairs with torn cushions & exposed rusty nails, unattractive locked white plastic chains limiting movement to get out of the sun! Inside the chairs are soiled. Called off my Birthday celebration due to embarrassment! More importantly one of the bedrooms does not have a door for privacy despite asking prior to booking! The bugs were bad but certainly not the homeowners fault..If you are looking for adult friendly place for fishing & decor/rust/soil is not important this home IS in a good location with a well equipped kitchen. Pics need updating!

Wonderful place to stay and enjoy the beach (5 min walk away or short golf cart drive) and the amazing views from the front porch. House was very clean and well maintained. From reserving the house until we checked out communication with the host was quick and helpful. Can’t wait to visit again soon.

This location was perfect. There is nothing like listening to the waves crash as you drift off to sleep and hearing them again when you wake up in the morning! Our group had 4 adults, two kids and our dog. This home was a dream spot for us. We have stayed in a lot of rentals over the years, in Texas and elsewhere. We like to cook at home when we are at the beach so we never have to lose our beach vibes. This is by far the most well-stocked kitchen we’ve ever had. Thank you for a wonderful family trip!

We had a great relaxing 5 day stay....property as we remembered it, but they added a NEW GAS GRILL! Was veryyyy welcome, so thanks. Last 2 days the wind died down and one block from the house there were swarms of Vampire mosquitoes, so take block..but the sea breeze kept them away from the house! Same comment from our last about sooo many plates etc is that there is nowhere to put groceries?? Hmmm

My second stay. I love this cottage. It preserves the frame of an old-fashioned beach house with a ritualized and stylist interior. In short, the “front-row seat on the Gulf” is simply perfect.

Beautifully decorated home with all amenities you can think of. Kitchen was FULLY stocked with dishes, appliances, utensils, you name it! Very comfortable beds and everything was SUPER clean. The only thing I would change is some blackout curtains in back bedroom as a good amount of light comes in from neighbors outside lights and the morning sun. That’s a personal preference though as I prefer a super dark room. Wonderful stay and super relaxing property.

From the deck or inside this home was a perfect spot for watching the pelicans or birds fly by and dolphins play! Home was nicely decorated and had a fully equipped kitchen. Enjoyed sea breezes and spectacular sunrises! Gulf Coast waters right in front was what we were looking for and this home did not disappoint! We will be back again next year!

The house is decorated well & is stocked with most everything you need. Only things to keep in mind: front bedroom has no way to lock the door and it’s on a slide and you can see in the room from hallway. AC doesn’t work as well in that room either. The bunk room doesn’t have a door. And you have to walk through the bunk room to get to the master bedroom. So those are the only issues really. It’s a great location, right on the water. Green lights out into the water at night for fishing from houses next door. I loved the beach chairs & umbrella provided, and the Bluetooth karaoke speaker was awesome too. All in all a great experience

Once again views of waves, sunrises, sunsets and dolphins did not disappoint. Home has all your needed amenities and well maintained. We had a wonderful time other than they have started construction next door on a new house so our last few days were very noisy pounding.

The property was clean, well located on the water, well stocked with recent appliances and furniture; even comes with a clean bbq and propane. Close to the beach. Overall, simple to book, great communication from the owner, uneventful and fun!

Even though it was father away from Galveston than we expected we loved the stay. Beautiful views, quiet, quick walk to lovely sandy beach. The only thing we struggled with was when we arrived (at night) it was impossible to see address on the house. Having the address on the lower/street level would be great for arrival. We will definitely be back! Thanks!

This was our second time staying at this property. We love it! It’s right at the ocean! We enjoyed having our morning coffee seating outside watching the sun rise. We were also fishing right there in front of the house and had a great Family time. Thank you!

Our 32 day stay here was wonderful! The property is exactly as shown and is very comfortable. Well appointed kitchen with so many cooking appliances. We enjoyed numerous hours on the large deck watching waves, dolphins, birds, butterflies, and the moon rise. The beach just a block away is amazing! A lot of shells and very few people. The beach goes on for miles! The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The property management team is amazing; they replaced the microwave within just a few hours of our call! We will definitely be back and highly recommend this property for a weekend or longer stay. You won’t be disappointed!

We really loved the house, the location, and the ease of getting to the beach. This is a truly wonderful place to stay if you are wanting to get away from it all! Great places in Galveston are 45 minutes from the home, and there are cool restaurants 20 minutes away in Surfside. The property management company was responsive and helpful. We’ll be back for sure!

The property was everything we needed and hoped for! The views are stunning. We watched the dolphins in the mornings and evenings from the balcony. The beach is awesome! You won't encounter too many people, really only those that live/stayed in the community. If you’re a city person this is a nice relaxing and quiet getaway, there are two cities nearby with plenty of fun things to do. We had some of the best food in Galveston! The house has games and everything you would need in the kitchen. The owner has some nice high end pot and pans, cutlery, dinnerware, and silverware. It was like I was at home and not a rental. Nice modern interior furniture and home accessories. The down side is the back (master) bedroom gets very warm in the afternoon and evenings. We couldn’t find the fan remote. The cleaning company missed a few things (washing bathroom floor mats, making sure the remote was accessible or even there, didn’t clean the microwave, and used a blood stained pillow case). Nothing earth shattering but I wasn’t pleased either considering we had to clean upon arrival. Management did not respond to my message or photos regarding the cleanliness but did respond about the remote saying it should be there on the dresser….it wasn’t. You have to leave the bedroom door open 24/7 and leave the floor fan running. I have one room in our home that doesn’t get adequate air so I don’t want to sound overly critical. The rest of house house was nice and cool the entire stay! The beds were comfy. The gas grill didn’t work on Labor day so they found a charcoal grill and had it delivered within hours. Management was on it! That was AWESOME considering we had a bunch of meat. Despite that, we would definitely stay there again. It’s truly the perfect location if you want to leave the fast paced, loud/crazy city life.

We loved our long weekend at this property! It was the perfect size for our family. The sunrise views from the front deck were amazing. Sunset views from the beach absolutely gorgeous. We enjoyed the beach daily, in spite of it being chilly. We hope to return!

This house is amazing, not to big or too small. Location is quiet and steps from the beach. We set our alarms to watch the sunrise and have our morning coffee on the large front deck. Extremely quiet and friendly area. We also enjoyed our morning and evening walks. Surfside is 12 minutes one way and Galveston is over the San Luis Pass and is a 25 minute drive the other way. We will definitely stay again.

My boyfriend and I stayed with my three sons ages 20-22 and their girlfriends. Even with 8 people we didn’t feel crowded. The view from the deck was amazing!! The only thing missing was not having the beach right in front of the house, but it’s only a few miles to the public access. The house was perfect and the kitchen had everything we needed! I would definitely stay here again!!

Lovely quiet area (except for the college kids party the first night behind us) with just the sea and a breeze. Gas grill was rusted beyond help, but property manager sent over Charcoal, lighter fluid and matches for the charcoal grill! Thanksss. Quiet area with a lot of empty rentals. Area looks like it is making a rebound with lots of new construction. House had everything we needed! In fact too much! Who ever thought one small house could be soooooo packed with stuff as a rental! The short dead-end road had more traffic than we expected of Looky-loos, but it was still very relaxing for us!
