Our group enjoyed our stay at this beach house. Plenty of beds and TVs for everyone to spread out. A nice large table for all gathering together for meals. The beach was foggy for our whole stay but we enjoyed the house itself.

House was great! Roomy and comfortable. Love the decks with comfy chairs. Beach was crazy busy Saturday & Sunday but nice and quiet on weekdays. There is a bar a couple of houses down that played really loud music Saturday & Sunday nights making it difficult to sleep.

This beach house was perfect for our group of women! There was plenty of sleeping accommodations and bathrooms. The beds were comfortable, and the living and dining room had plenty of seating and were both comfortable. The elevator was a necessity for our group and was greatly appreciated. The hosts were responsive when we had an issue with the smoke alarms, and sent the maintenance man immediately. We had a wonderful time, would highly recommend, and will definitely consider coming back. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!!

It was an amazing stay! It was for my 33rd birthday and it was breathtaking to be on the beach and have access to it 24/7! You can’t beat the view! There is a restaurant that is walking distance away that was really good! The place was clean and a lot bigger than it seems to be on the pictures! We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone! Thanks for the remarkable experience!

Great place and location. We truly enjoyed our stay!!! We would definitely book again! Adding a few notes for future renters, which are not compliants...just sharing: - the listing talks about the water not being safe to drink but does not share that the house has empty 5 gallon water bottles to take down to city hall (super close) and fill them up. They have a water disperser thing too. Super invaluable!!! - the 3 trash bags, 3 dish pods, and 3 dish towels are definitely not enough for our 3 day stay. . With two families, we blew through this quickly. Luckily I read this and brought backup. Enjoy your stay!! It's a lovely place and great for lots of people. There were 8 of us and we were very comfortable!

Muy mala experiencia es la primera ve que me toca esto. Y llevaba 3 niños pequeños, avise con anticipación de nuestra llegada y no nos contestaron y nunca nos mandaron el código a tiempo. Llegamos y encontramos cucarachas en varios lados. Hasta en la lavatrastes fue terrible. Los muebles y tapetes no han sido lacados creo que nunca. Un colchón tiene un horoficio y te hundes toda en la parte de en medio. Los utensilios de cocina estaba muy sucios tuve que llegar a ponerme a lavar. Matamos 4 cucarachas. Me Pareció Proco profesional del dueño o de la empresa que les maneja esto que solo me hayan rembolsado 500 dólares después de todo lo que pasamos. No lo recomiendo lleguen a otra parte definitivamente. Pensamos que la poción era magnífica pues las fotos así lo muestran pero la realidad de suciedad es tremenda. Me pareció muy mal la atención. Mi esposo tuvo que arreglar un problema del sink porque se estancó el agua y no pudieron mandarme a nadie. Y eso tampoco me lo rembolsaron.

We loved the layout of the house with our group. Adults stayed on top floor and teen girls stayed on 2nd floor. Elevator was a life saver. Couple things I would take a look at. Need to update kitchen utensils. We could not find kitchen scissors? I would have hot tub instructions. Door lock instructions. Shower instructions? The master bath on 3rd flower must have a broken shower head. We could only get sprayer to work. We do give a 5 star though because we had a great time and enjoyed the place. Thanks for sharing!

Perfect home for our group of 13! Rooms are very spacious. Kitchen was stocked with plenty of items to use when preparing and eating meals. Location was extraordinary! Just walk down from the deck and over the dune and you are on the beach. We absolutely love Surfside and will be back again!

The house was terrific...right on the beach with access over the dune via a small walking bridge. The property was in a terrific location with a restaurant a short walk away. Instacart grocery delivery was available to the house so we did not even have to leave. The home was clean and well supplied with towels and kitchen necessities. The hot tub was a very welcome amenity after a day on the beach where we could still enjoy the sounds and sights of the ocean while relaxing. The elevator was very helpful for move in and move out. The check out list was very small and significantly less arduous than most rental listings we have stayed in. Overall excellent property and good communication and expectation setting with the managers.

We really enjoyed staying in Surfside - it was our first time. I had some concerns with recent reviews of the property but reached out to management prior to the start of our visit and felt like all issues had been addressed. Unit was clean and spacious. Not being able to drink or cook with surfside water was a slight headache but it’s mentioned frequently so we just purchased water ahead of time. The unit is really close to Beachfront restaurant which was great to walk to; however, the unit’s proximity led to us in the master bedroom being able to hear the music well into the night + sounds of people driving their vehicles (and getting stuck) in the sand at all hours of the night. Hardly anyone abided by the warnings of soft sand (which actually proved to be entertaining in itself). We would rent here again. Had one issue with sinks not draining and did have management call me back quickly and maintenance was in the unit the next morning. We had a great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this house, which was located right on the beach. The elevator made the move in and out process a lot easier. And there rooms were large, perfect for big families traveling together. The living room was spacious with a large dining table that could seat everyone. Everything was clean and organized. Will stay again!

My husband and I took our three kids plus three extra kids for a summer getaway. Ages ranged from 6-14. This house was great for us! The location was great and has direct beach access. We rented golf carts to make the ease of hauling all of beach stuff and there is golf cart beach access at the restaurant next door. The home was clean and came pretty well equipped. The elevator was a nice surprise. Very handy when getting coolers to the third floor. :) The only things I would recommend for the property manager is to add some basic items to the kitchen - can opener, hand mixer, baking sheets that fit the oven, measuring spoons, an extra broom/dust pan (we finally found one on the first floor). Some additional outdoor patio furniture would be nice too. There isn’t a place to sit and eat. The table currently there is tied down and has one chair. The hot tub was great. Everyone enjoyed soaking in it after a long day at the beach. Overall we were very pleased with the property and would definitely rent it again!

The listing was a little inaccurate as in, they under committed and over delivered. They had extra beach tents, chairs and toys. They also had more bathrooms than listed. This house is located with perfect access to everything from the beach to the mall to the pier to restaurants, etc. There had been flooding a few weeks back in the area causing issues with the natural landscape and dunes but you could not tell in the house, it was great. As always we could have used a few more hooks and towels. Also a Phillips head screwdriver could fix a lot of little things worn in the house. We loved our time there and hope the home was not too damaged in the recent hurricane Beryl.

We loved the property. There were just a few glitches The light in the pink bedroom with one bunk bed is burned out and I didn't realize that my earbuds had fallen out until I got home since it was dark in the room and plugging a lamp in to turn off/on is not kosher. The only BIG complaint is that when we went to load the dishwasher the smell rotten fish permeated the whole top floor. We ran an empty cycle but it made one of our people sick it was so bad. Also the garbage disposal stank. Cleaning crew needs to check both It’s sad some vacationers do that to properties The battery for the remote for the fireplace is dead; not that big of a deal since one member has a similar fireplace so knew where controls are located but someone else might not. We got a kick out of the elevator I would like my earbuds back if found Thank you so much for the amenities

Internet went out and Ashley was so helpful to get it repaired. Cynthia came and stayed with the repairman so we could leave. Kitchen was equipped with dishes and utensils. I would like to have more room to have stored items we brought with us. It had elevator which helped with someone with bad back. There was some minor repairs needed such as inside showers missing handles and 2nd floor sliding door would not lock and some lights were out to name a few.

This house was great! We had 3 families staying in one house. Loved the indoor elevator. That was a back lifesaver. House was clean and everything worked well. We only had a couple issues with a bunkbed rail being broken and the fire alarm went off for no reason. Maintenence came out and fixed it right away. For our group needs the beds were an odd choice in layout but we made it work. Mattresses definitely need to be replaced but overall it was great. We LOVED the giant table that fit all of us.

This was our 24th annual family beach trip and this house was one of the best - 2 minutes from house to beach. It is a very spacious house with plenty of room for large groups of all ages. Good size bedrooms and large common areas are a real plus and the kitchen is well equipped with a dining table that seats 14.

We had a good time. However we were very disappointed with the upkeep. The hot tub never worked (main reason I booked this home). The kitchen faucet was hanging on for dear life. None of the pots were good enough to cook on a ceramic cook top, the regular oven did not work (had to improvise and use the little oven). The reverse osmosis water filter gave us a 1/2 cup of water two times. The dishwasher was difficult to get to run. I have to say the living area and bedrooms were exceptionally large and accommodating. Please give this house an uplift.We do not ever expect perfection when we rent properties, just want the advertised goods to work properly.

This house is beautiful, however it does need some TLC. That being said 979 Properties was amazing in helping us get through most issues…the hot tub was not working and dirty! Several ceiling fan issues. But we had an amazing trip. The view from the decks are beautiful!

We had a fantastic time during our stay. The house was beautiful. It was right on the beach with fantastic views from the decks. The hot tub and elevator were perks that made our stay even more pleasant. The property management was easily contacted and quickly addressed our needs. After years of searching we’ve found where we want to stay every summer!

Great property for our annual boys trip. House was very clean and well furnished. Elevator is great considering kitchen is on the third floor. Views are great from both balconies. Great location with restaurant and bar less than 100 yards away. Only two negatives: all pots and pans have warped bottoms, making them very difficult to cook in. The living room TV’s we’re not very useful, one being outdated and unable to support Hulu, and the other just very difficult to operate. I would definitely rent again.

Where do I start? Roach infestation, that’s right little ones on walls, bathrooms, kitchen. When I spoke to the company managing the place they said it was just that time of year. If your going to grill; bring your own. The large grill outside is so rusted it’s not safe to cook on. When I messaged the managing company they stated that’s just how things are at the beach. Pits and pans; bring your own as well. They are thrown under the cabinets and only 1/2 of each with no lids. Only one VERY small cutting board to don’t bring any water melon to cut. Also bring your own can opener because there isn’t one there. The hot tub works but there is green water in it so make sure and shower if you get in. The Vanity lights in the Master bathroom are all out as well as 3 out 4 on the main patio decking. We had to make a trip into Lake Jackson in order to get what we needed. The house is pretty but NOT accommodating at all with items you need and should have when renting especially a place that is expensive such as this one. If I could leave photos on here I would; but unfortunately it doesn’t let me. We were very disappointed.

Very responsive when we needed maintenance even on a Sunday! Very spacious and comfortable. Suggestion: because the home had an elevator, we assumed the house was handicap friendly. Grab bars around the toilet and inside the shower of the bedroom suite on the main floor(3rd floor) would have been helpful to my wheelchair bound dad. He was only able to give himself a sponge bath while there and required assistance while using the restroom.

It is a really nice house right on the Beach! You would think at this price it would be better maintained, we were very disappointed. The Hot Tub was green and smelled like urine; one of the queen beds was broken when we got there, my daughter and her husband had to put mattress on the floor to sleep, was not fixed until the 4th night;gas grill was rusty and dirty; bathroom door lock was broke and my daughter got locked in the bathroom; AC vent was dripping on dining room chairs; powder room sink not draining; Kitchen had no can opener or cooking/baking pans. I literally messaged them about something from the 1st night up to the day we left!

Starting with the cons: We didn't get our house access code until 4:38pm (should've had the day before for 4pm check-in), and that was only after messaging through the app, calling to leave a VM and sending a text message. Not good when you have a car full of food that needs to get into the fridge. We also saw healthy and baby cockroaches in the kitchen throughout the week. The grill was pretty gross, food caked on from previous use, and rusty (hard being by the salt water, I'm sure). It would've been nice to have lots more kitchen towels and wash cloths for the amount of cooking/cleaning in the kitchen for a week (we were given only 3 kitchen towels). Pros: excellent beach front access, extremely spacious living area, kitchen, dining, bathrooms, wrap around deck on both levels, and extra chairs to take to the beach.
