Great location and not too far from Houston. Loved the way you could hear the water while sleeping. Felt like a second home. Great spot to go with family or friends.

This place was the perfect vacation get away, very peaceful and quite, VERY convenient! This place was spotless all rooms were very comfy and spacious, the kitchen was perfect, loved all the seating inside and out, BUT most importantly loved just being able to walk off my porch into the sea! We will definitely be back!

My siblings, our families, and I had the best time during our stay. The location was perfect. Everything matched the listing perfectly and looked exactly as pictured. The place was clean and welcoming. All the amenities we needed were available at our disposal. During our stay, we especially loved how we were able to wake up and step right onto the beach. The views from sunrise to the sunset were amazing. The beds were cozy, the rooms were clean, and there was plenty of room for our group of 14. The two times we contacted our host we got an immediate response. We will definitely be returning.

I rented the house for me and my kids and grandkids. Wasn’t able to go, I have teens and tweens and they absolutely loved it my son n law and daughter said it was awesome. They were never bored. Loved all the fishing found awesome seashells loved the whole experience and I’ll have to say we’ve been called picky and high maintenance before lol and was a great trip

This place is absolutely well localized, geographically is absolutely convenient. In fact, I think some photos don't do justice to the place. We actually had a great weekend and we could celebrate our degree as we deserved. Oh, go ask me if I come back, I definitely would do it.

Amazing location! The views are stunning. The house is spacious and inviting. The beds were comfortable. The host was responsive and any issues we felt they would address. Definitely a great spot for relaxing and disconnecting for a bit! We hope to return again in the near future!

This house sits right on the water. During high tide you can sit on the bottom deck and have your feet in the gulf. We had a great time here and will be back. Plenty of space for a large family or group.

We really enjoyed stepping in right out onto the water. Although we did not read the fine print about swimming, our grandkids were just the right age, running along edge of water, splashing, playing and picking up shells and crabs! House was clean and the space was perfect for all 20 of us! Definitely recommend!!!

We absolutely loved this property. The large rooms, 3 story views are amazing. We saw everything from crabs to pelicans from our back porch. I highly recommend this property for a large family or group.

We spent a weekend here last fall, and were excited to find an opportunity to come back this summer. It's a roomy house, well equipped, with unquestionably the best beach access anywhere around. The house casts a big shady spot on the beach in the afternoon, making it a pleasant place on even the hottest of days. We look forward to our next visit.

The Z beach house itself is great. Unfortunately, the outdoor photos of the beach in front of the house are completely inaccurate now. I realize that the hurricane is not the fault of the owners but the outdoor photos that are advertising the home are completely misleading. There is NO beach in front of the house anymore. The house has gulf water flowing up to and under the house at all hours of the day. There is no place to play in the sand except on the side of the house between this house and the neighbors. It was very disappointing for our family. The interior of the house is exactly as shown and we had a pleasant stay. The property managers were very responsive regarding a TV issue that we had and the kids certainly appreciated that! However, the photos of the beach are completely inaccurate and need to be updated.

Property was very nice and booking and checking in was very easy. Only downfall is the pictures of outside show more beach out in front of the house and alot has been washed away. We still had a great beach on the side of the neighboring house, and we rented a golf cart to drive to a bigger nicer beach a couple of blocks away. Overall great experience.

Overall we enjoyed the property. There was plenty of room, the beds were very comfortable and the house was clean. Our only disappointment was that there was no beach in front of the house any time of the day. The tide was always up to the lower deck. The staircase to the beach/water shown in the photos did not exist. We had to walk down a couple of house to find any sand/beach. With that said, we still had a great time. The kids had fun in the water, catching crabs and making sandcastles. We had a couple of issues but response from the property managers was quick. The code to the main door did not work when we arrived but they sent a new one within 30 minutes. The lock actually broke midweek and the repair man was there quickly to fix it. The icemaker broke a few days before we arrived but we were told ahead of time so we were able to purchase ice. Other than that we had a great time.

It was a very nice vacation but the beach in the picture was not there. The tide was very high all week and it is very far from stores. So if you go to Galveston a lot while you're there you will have about 20 to 30 minutes and a $2 toll on the bridge both ways.

The family had a great time despite the fact that the breaker in one of the downstairs bedrooms kept blowing and they spent the entire trip without a/c and light in that room. There was a drowning 6 weeks ago on that piece of the beach so there was no swimming allowed and we were not informed of that by the property management company, very dangerous to swim there. Otherwise, a great time was had by all and great family memories made.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved the view, the beach toys for kids, searching for cool shells and building/designing and playing in the sand. The house comfortably accommodated 13 of us. Everyone enjoyed catching huge shrimp and crabs large enough to boil with a simple net. With the smaller shrimp as bait we caught fish right from the beach. It was a ten minute walk to the swimming beach or a few minutes ride.

House is as described, beds comfortable, property clean and orderly. You can't beat the view! Guys fished, literally, from the deck, kids found crazy amounts of shells. A short walk from the house is miles of beach to enjoy. Couldn't have asked for a better place to relax, rejuvenate and reconnect with family and friends.

We absolutely loved our stay at Atlantis. We were right on the water. If you are looking for a place right on the water with COVERED decks, this is it! There were three huge decks at this house. When the tide comes in, the water is under the house so you are actually over the water and can actually fish from the deck. I love the fact that we did not have to walk across a long walkway over the mosquito infested marsh to get to the water. You can actually hear the waves and not just see them. The management team was very quick to respond to all messages. Love, love, love this house. Huge kitchen and dining table. Beds are so comfortable and in the master bedroom you can open the French door and see and hear the waves while sitting in bed. We will absolutely stay here again.

Location was amazing. Some items to fix: Toaster is broke, counter ice maker does not work, the upper deck door in the bedroom-the knob is not screwed on, litterally just in the door, fell out completely, had to use a hair tie to secure the knob.n Upper street side bedroom's bathroom toilet paper holder not attached to the bathroom and one of the deck chairs is missing a bolt/screw holding the arm rest and back in place.

The view is amazing and tons of seashells in the area to search for. During low tide it was also a great place to sunbath or read by the shore. However, lots of just quick fixes around the house. We hated that we couldn’t access the bottom porch without having to go to the back of the house due to a staircase being closed off. There was no sign nor did they make us aware a staircase would be closed off, we just had to assume due to wood being nailed to entrance. We also wished there was an easier way to access the beach, you’ll have to go to the back of the house and then step carefully downhill over rocks and shells to access the beach. I know swimming isn’t permitted due to the riptide… but the home is advertised as a great spot to sunbath or shell hunt.

Right on the beach! House was spotless, the kitchen is awesome, plenty of room for everyone and enough space for when you want some quiet time. All the basic necessities were provided so we didn’t have to worry about bringing Tp, towels, laundry detergent or linens. The linens were clean, white and in very good condition, big plus in my opinion. We enjoyed just relaxing on the deck, reading, listening to the ocean right in front or under us and watching the birds. Would definitely stay here again.

The view is amazing!!! Very accommodating for 4 families. I love how the beach house sits right on the beach & the big kitchen bar. We spent our days sitting under the canopy, fishing, playing horse shoes/ corn hole, & playing in the sand with the little ones. Cons: The freezers ice machine & water did not work. The ac did not go below 70.

Had a blast with my 4 daughters....the house was clean, beds comfy. Which was a good thing because it rained the whole time. A lot of shell hunting between showers. There was a dog that barked all night next door but it was only there the last 2 nights. Thanks the house was perfect.

Had a wonderful girl's getaway with 5 family members aged 13 to 79. It was an absolutely fabulous home with more than enough room. Very clean, well stocked, and cute nautical decor! The stairs literally lead right onto the beach. The outside shower with warm water was really nice. It had a picnic table, cleaning station for shells and hands (I guess men might call this a fish cleaning area -- ha ha), hooks for hanging stuff, bins of beach toys, and lots of chairs. We did have to watch the tide tables closely as high tide left no beach in front of the house. Overall, a 5-Star rental. Would highly recommend!

This was an amazing house right on the beach. The beds were comfy and the house was exactly what we wanted and expected. We enjoyed watching the sunrise from the deck outside of the master bedroom and the lower deck was perfect for sipping wine in the afternoon. We enjoyed watching the porpoises and all of the various birds who call the Gulf Coast home. Our time there went by way too fast. We will definitely rent this home again.

Few waterfront rentals are literally ON the beach - this one is and makes it special. We had a great time shelling and playing games in the sand. Bedding is awesome, kitchen well equipped. Could use some additional seating inside and out when you are 8+ guests, which the house can accommodate easily. It’s a haul in to the store, so provision well ahead of time. Going out to eat, it’s closer to Surfside to the South, than Galveston. Thanks fo the memorable stay.

The house was perfect. Everything was in working order, clean and plenty of room for our party of 10. I chose this house so we could have a true Beach House experience and we did just that. Our group spent more time on the beach and near the water than any vacation in recent years. We have two 11-yr olds and they were never bored. Our friends brought their teenagers and they never complained once, it was a great time. The shelling was amazing as well as the crabs our family caught each night. The only drawback was early in the week we had a very strong storm come in which really effected water quality. The current is very strong in front of the house so our kids were only allowed to go knee deep but there is a beach area just around the bend for safer swimming. HOLY MOSQUITOS! At times they were unbearable so we will be better prepared next time. Water and mosquitos are things we can't control so with that I thought this was an awesome experience and thankful we made the 1,000 mile drive to get there!

Everything was perfect. Walking right on to the beach...having a bed for everyone in the family....huge kitchen to cook and enjoy...only thing we missed was a grill. The one here I would be afraid to need a shot if I used it. But it's hard to keep metal nice by the water. ONLY downfall for us. And really, we could of just cooked the burgers on the stove. Best house you'll find on VBRO for the price.

The Z beach house was nothing short of perfection! We wanted lots of room for all the family and we wanted beach front property and the Z house did not disappoint at all. Every detail of our stay exceeded our expectation. The ice machine was so awesome!! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed . Beds were comfortable. We enjoyed grilling on the deck and watching the beautiful sunrises and sunsets over the water. Neighbors were friendly . Thank you for sharing this beautiful home. We stayed for a long weekend with friends at this house and it was great! As soon as you walk off the back steps you are on the beach. Great location and the house was clean and plenty of space for everyone. Although you cant swim at the beach at this location, we didnt mind and the swim beach was just around the corner for when the kids wanted to go, which was only twice. We would stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

This is an awesome property and presents exactly as described. VERY well equipped, just take the food you love for that grill! We so enjoyed our evenings on the deck w/the yummies from it and our favorites wine(s). :) Only thing we found was some details missed in cleaning. I think this is totally on the cleaning company as ceiling fans were dirty, and the kitchen counter had a "film" on it. We wiped everything down and were happier than clams! No big deal. Thank you for the warm welcome, hospitality and beautiful, relaxing home!

We got lucky - perfect weather, unusually blue water and not a single mosquito in sight. Our biggest lucky break was finding this house. It's a big two story with a broad wrap-around deck on both floors, roomy for our group of 3 couples and a baby, and comfortably equipped (LOVED the big ice maker). It is literally just steps from the water. We eagerly look forward to our next visit here.
