We stayed at this house last weekend very comfortably with a group of 8. The house is fully equipped with everything needed. The expansive deck spaces outside were great. I highly recommend this house for a weekend getaway (or more).
We're delighted your Endless Activities experience was a success! Thanks for choosing our home for your getaway time.
We loved the house and the location. This was our family mini vacation from 7/13/18 to 7/16/18. Had our two daughters and their families and my husband and myself. Text from one of my son in laws "This house is awesome! Thank you very much Rick and Alice. This is gonna be a fun weekend"! My grandkids and the adults had fun riding in the kayaks and fishing. Had a lot of room for 6 adults and 5 grandkids. Everyone had a great time. Would recommend this home to anyone. We would rent this home again. Alice, Humble, TX
Do not pass up this house. It has everything you need, is in a great location, and could not be more beautiful. We had an amazing Memorial Day weekend here. There are no complaints from us - only good things!
Wow, thanks so much! It was an absolutely gorgeous weekend, so glad you were here to enjoy. Appreciate you taking such nice care of our home during your stay. Please come back again!
This property was fantastic for our weekend getaway. No complaints from anyone and would definitely book here again. The best part of this house is the layout... all of the outdoor space made it feel huge and relaxing on the deck was awesome. Thanks so much to the property owners and property managers!
Absolutely our pleasure! Glad you experienced the getaway you were looking for. Love to have you back!
We stayed for 3 nights for a girlfriends weekend. The home is at the end of a quiet neighborhood. Great views of the water from multiple places on the expansive decks. Loved the lower deck with the hot tub, grill and outdoor TV in the shade. Did a little fishing from the pier on the lower deck with some poles we brought. Caught a few little fish....the big ones got away! Second floor deck was great as well and is situated right off the main living area by the kitchen and living room. Beds were very comfortable with luxury sheets. Home was very clean. As noted by others, several lights were out, though not surprising in a house this large. The only one that is a problem is the one right outside the front door which went out during our stay (please fix). Made it a little dangerous going downstairs in the dark, but we were able to use the flashlight on our phones. Overall it was a great place to kick back and relax. We would definitely stay there again.
Awesome property and location. Fenced in and gated keeps kids and small dogs contained. Bring Keurig pods for the coffee pot. If you have a larger group that drinks coffee I would bring a traditional coffee pot. There are two kayaks with paddles that are fun to paddle around and fish out of but you will need to bring your own life jackets. There is a bathroom and outdoor shower on the ground level as well. We really enjoyed the decks in the mornings and evenings for hanging out and watching the birds and boat traffic. Overall this is a great house and one of the nicer for rent in Jamaica Beach.
A really beautiful place. There was plenty of room to sleep 12. Downstairs there was very nice lounge area with a serving bar & grill. The main level is an open area with really nice views of the bay. Very comfortable living area and large enough kitchen for cooking big meals. Large bedrooms open up to decks outside. Upstairs is the massive master bedroom and huge bathroom with large shower and tub and a walk-in closet with plenty of storage for all your stuff. The master bedroom has beautiful view of the bay and its own balcony. There are 2 kayaks and a paddle board. It was an amazing experience!
We were pleasantly surprised that the place looked as good as the pictures. It all looks freshly painted and well maintained. I was thrilled that there were underwater lights but never figured out how to catch the huge trout that cruised around 4 AM. The kayaks and paddleboard were a nice addition. The Keurig coffee maker was nice but we didn't have coffee for that maker. The DVD player looked new but we couldn't find the remote and it didn't have a cable to connect to the TV. TV's are great, especially the one down below. Next time we'll bring a kettle to cook crabs and some crab eating utensils. The interior decorations are wonderful. Kitchen and cupboard are great. Bunk beds are comfortable even for adults!
This house is amazing! We have rented several homes in the area and by the far the best we have stayed. The property was spotless when we arrived, offered endless activities for all and we were impressed by even the little things they thought of. The beds were comfortable with upgraded bedding, the towels were top notch and they even provided toiletries. We brought our own jet skies along with the kayaks, paddle board and floats provided it was endless fun on the water. The parking area is small so we did have an issue with our jet ski trailer but a neighbor was nice enough to let us park the trailer across the street from their house. Having 12 total we did not have any issue, there is so much space to spread out that it never seemed crowded. A few things that I would note is that the coffee maker is a keurig so bring coffee cups not grounds. We brought several big pots and pans and utensils, even though it seemed like there was a lot provided. The stove is electric. The upstairs master is connected to the sitting area with a pull out couch but guests in there don't have access to a bathroom. The grill is gas so you don't need charcoal which was wonderful!! There is also no hairdryer so make sure to pack one. The stairs to the master are difficult and can be slippery, so be mindful if you have any issues with stairs this house has a lot of stairs. Overall the best weekend ever!! We will definitely be back! The other family we went with was fully impressed and ready to rent again.
Rented for my nieces bachelorette party and the house was perfect for the all the ladies...kayaks and paddle board were a huge plus, everyone enjoyed them and we spent most our time setting by the water enjoying a beautiful day and great weather. We are definitely intrested in booking property again for family event.
Thanks for taking such great of the property and hope we may see you again in the future! 979 Vacation Property Services
This property was fantastic. The pictures don't do it justice. Only a small few complaints, but I will get into those details in a minute. There were 10 of us staying at this home for a long weekend celebrating the opening of my husbands new company. Mostly adult couples, with a couple of singles. The home was clean, beds were EXTREMELY comfortable, decks galore, it was amazing. Despite rainy, windy, and chilly weather all weekend we still managed to have a great time. See my pros/cons list below. PROS: Comfortable beds, plenty of room, a nice selection of board games provided. Ample seating in the kitchen.. Grill outside worked great Wifi reception was good, TV's had lots of channels, outdoor seating seemed like the choices never ended. 2 kayaks, 1 stand up paddle board, some boogie boards, a couple of water toys, corn hole, and a few other odds and ends for outdoor entertainment. Hot tub was amazing and on when we arrived. 2 nice full bathrooms with well working showers and linens provided. 1 half bathroom outside downstairs near the water - also a fridge in the same area. Most everything was amazing. CONS: Sliding glass doors in both the bunk room and queen room didn't work and there were no window coverings on the doors. Upstairs master toilet had issues flushing but we got it to work for the time being. Stairs are wood floors and very slippery, in fact, 2 people fell and ended pretty banged up. Lots of light switches and fan remotes that are unlabeled and it takes forever to figure out what goes with what. My biggest concern: light bulbs burnt out galore. The lights on the stairs outside didn't work and that was a safety concern. Remote control batteries were dead in just about everything. The kitchen was "stocked" with plates, etc. as but if you are planning to cook for a large group (like we did) there really only a few skillets and one smaller sauce pan. Thankfully we anticipated this and brought 2 of our own huge pots to cook in. Someone must have been crabbing at some point because they left a dead opossum in the crab trap... on the deck. Pretty gross but understandable why it was there. THINGS NOT MENTIONED: There is a double pull out couch in living area outside master bedroom in addition. Master on its own floor (3rd). Be prepared for stairs. There were some basics like laundry detergent, cooking oil, salt/pepper, etc. but maybe dont expect it. The driveway floods pretty bad. Septic system so be careful what you flush :)
Had an amazing time at this rental property. Its location is prime real estate located at the mouth of canal allowing easy access to the bay for great fishing by kayak, paddle boarding and other water activities. The beach is conveniently located right down the road which is always a great time!. The house is set up to accommodate all guests and is very spacious with great amenities. Truly loved this place and will be back every year for sure!!
My family has stayed at the Mularkey's beach house on several occasions; wonderful place! The location on the main canal is ideal for watching the boats come in and go out. Three separate decks and immaculate inside. With privacy from the neighbors, a bar downstairs, and plenty sitting space, you couldn't find a better place to host a party or friends. We'll be back every year! Engel Family
